I've been hearing about otherwise balanced people driven to their agitated edge, and symptoms showing up in those who don't think of themselves as sensitives. With the solar flaring, it's been an incredibly intense week, with the Full Moon on top of it.
When we can observe such a direct link to an event beyond Earth, like with symptoms or moods, it can bring home our place in the solar system and beyond. Says scientist Susan Rennison, "We're on the threshold of a new era in which space weather can be as influential in our daily lives as ordinary terrestrial weather."
Rennison recently gave an illuminating lecture on Space Weather: Implications for Planet Earth and Humans, at a college in the Netherlands. Or, for a quick nutshell version, check out her easy-to-understand Space Weather Slide Show. I'm psyched to find her work, in my own journey to understand what's happening to Earth and us earthlings, along with plant and animal life, and how it relates to the Sun, and transmissions from the Galactic Center and Deep Space. She compares what's happening, including the tweaking of DNA, to Mayan prophecy of great changes in human evolution.
This is the 'out there' frontier even for trained space scientists, says Rennison. For example, she tells how Italian astronomers spotted a huge gamma ray burst in the shape of a diamond. The scientists called it the Crazy Diamond. Says Rennison in her talk, "We are seeing really strange, unique, incredible things going on out in space."
She explains how both the Sun and Earth's magnetic fields are weakened, which means Sol is delivering energies from deep space to our atmosphere. She's written a book called Tuning the Diamonds, Electromagnetism and Spiritual Evolution. It's a book I've been looking for, to understand how best to meet the changes in magnetics from the bursts from space, and the Sun.
The idea behind the 2012 alignment, is that there's a great download happening from the Galactic Center, and the mysterious infinitude of dark matter within it. This whole scenario can restore awe, and inspire us to think galactically. As Rennison says, "We are all astronauts now!"
This image shows a gamma ray burst detected in 2008, that's older than the Sun and Earth! It's fascinating to think what effect this kind of ancient light could have, if it's beamed to Earth.
There's a lot of fear and confusion about what's happening, with the birds dying, and the weather going rogue. I highly recommend Rennison's lecture, in which she speaks in a gentle, calm voice, but in a way that inspires awe rather than fear. That we're part of a great mystery, and an incredible transition for humanity.
