Angels and Light Bodies:

On Monday's show, investigative mythologist William Henry discussed the connection between the seraphim and reptilians, and the transition into the "next human" as beings who enter the rainbow body of light. There are several different kinds of angels, he noted, but the seraphim are of the highest order, beings of pure light and love, who could represent the next level of humanity. "I believe that we're on the verge of duplicating...ascension chambers" that have been depicted in ancient representations, and this is going to be opening the door towards traveling in parallel dimensions-- a technology that could actually be available in the next 10 years, he predicted.

The Tibetans teach that Earth is part of a federation of 14 different star systems, including Sirius, Arcturus, and the Pleiades. Some of the advanced Tibetan masters are said to have evolved into light bodies and traveled to these other systems, possibly through wormholes, said Henry. Beings who have transformed into rainbow or light bodies may appear to us like apparitions, such as when Mother Mary is seen, he continued.

Henry pointed out that the ancients pictured the seraphim as feathered serpents, and depicted them in artworks as having vortex-shaped bodies covered with feathers (see related images). While the seraphim have a serpentine aspect to them, he differentiated them from the reptilians, the so-called tall, crocodile-nosed ETs who have been associated with negative behavior toward humans. The rainbow body tradition is calling upon humanity to expand our hearts and minds and become more full spectrum electrical and spiritual beings, he imparted.

The Neuroscience of Magic:

First hour guests, neuroscientists Stephen Macknik and Susana Martinez-Conde revealed some of the scientific aspects behind magicians' tricks. "Magicians manipulate our attention and awareness by taking control and hacking our brains," said Macknick. They take advantage of the fact that human brains are hard wired to use attention to enhance certain things while suppressing others, he added.

On this date in 1982, Charles Brooks Jr. earned the dubious distinction of being the first person ever executed by lethal injection. While the concept of lethal injection as a means of execution had been around since the late-1800's, it was not until the late 1970's when it became a viable option for executing death row inmates. Since Brooks' demise, lethal injection has become the predominant form of capital punishment in the United States.

Tonight's Show, Tuesday, December 7th:

Documentary filmmaker and director of the of Mile High Horror Film Festival, Timothy Schultz will discuss his search for the true nature of ghosts and hauntings.

Man-Made Monsters:

On Thursday's show, author Dr. Bob Curran discussed various types of man-made monsters, both in history and folklore, as well as current technological advances leading to the creation of an army of "unstoppable" soldiers. These soldiers might adapt to any extreme environment, with their brains chemically altered to not feel pain or fear, or their thoughts manipulated through a microchip. We are creating a monster for defense, yet the obverse side is we are creating a monster that could turn against us, he cautioned.

In looking at Mary Shelley's famous tale, Frankenstein, he detailed how she was inspired by a scientist of her day, Giovanni Aldini, who experimented with electricity, which was then considered a somewhat mysterious process. He experimented with corpses, and "believed that a body which had been dead for a [short] time, could be kickstarted again," said Curran. In an earlier era, alchemists searched for a seed from which a man could be grown like a plant, and some said they'd actually succeeded at this, he added.

Curran shared the story of the Golem, the Jewish legend of a being created from inanimate matter. One such man of clay was said to lumber through the streets of Prague, at the command of a Rabbi, protecting Jews from Anti-Semites. But according to legend, if the Golem was kept in existence for too long, it would become autonomous and out of control. He also touched on tales of ancient robots, the Templars find of a bronze head that could offer prophecies, and American folklore about the ' Melon Heads,' beings said to be genetically created from children in orphanages.

Tips for Healthy Living:

First hour guest, author and motivational speaker Susan Smith Jones talked about her new book, The Joy Factor, which features various practices to remain healthy and youthful. Natural remedies like astragalus root help fortify the immune system, she noted, while reducing stress via relaxation can reduce or eliminate illnesses.

Today in Strangeness:

Ivan Pavlov, who knew a thing or two about making dogs salivate, received the Nobel Prize for physiology (1904). Ed Wood Jr., the creator of such "classics" as Plan 9 From Outer Space, left this earthly plane ('78).

Interacting with Angels:

Filling in for George, Ian Punnett welcomed author Lorna Byrne, in the first half of the program, for a discussion on her lifelong contact with angels. Byrne, who claims to have been interacting with the entities for as long as she could remember, quipped that she has seen angels "from the moment I opened my eyes." Over the course of her life, she said, these beings have facilitated contact with her deceased brother as well as foretold who her husband would be and how their relationship would progress. Based on her experience and ability to see the entities, she revealed that every person, regardless of religion or morality, has a guardian angel. In fact, they are so pervasive, Byrne said she would be shocked if she saw someone "without the light of a guardian angel."

On why it appears that guardian angels help some people and not others, Byrne explained that they are only allowed a limited amount of intervention. Ultimately, she said, it is up to humans whether or not they will listen to their guardian angel. "We're the ones that have the power, you have to remember," she observed, "we're the ones who have the power to go right when, deep down inside of us, we know we should go left." She stressed that learning to recognize these messages from our guardian angels, no matter how subtle, could have a profound impact on not only ourselves, but the world at large. "If we'd only listen a little bit more and respond," Byrne mused, "life would be much easier. I know we wouldn't be having war at all."

Open Lines:

The second half of the program was devoted to Open Lines and featured callers talking about a variety of topics including WikiLeaks, predatory snakes, and UFOs. On that note, Frank in Wisconsin weighed in with his theory that the reason why the government doesn't reveal the truth about UFOs is because ETs are actually the power brokers behind the scenes. Tammy in Oklahoma shared the story of her fourteen-year-old son, who has always had extremely sensitive hearing. So remarkable are his abilities, that he recently claimed to have heard a plane crash, despite there being no evidence for such an event in the sky. A skeptical Tammy dismissed his claims until she watched the evening news and they reported on a plane crash that took place 125 miles away.

Throughout the two hours of Open Lines, the theme of 'soul mates' also emerged, inspired by the first caller, Mary in Pittsburgh, who pondered the nature of such pairings. Later on in the evening, numerous callers told stories of having soul mates that did not conform to the traditional romantic definition of the concept. For instance, Dan in San Diego shared the story of his best friend, who he called his "spiritual twin." Remarkably, the pair share the exact same birthday, relatives with the same full name, and they even recently both lost the same tooth. "And it goes on and on and on like this," he marveled. Similarly, Rachel in San Jose talked about her soul mate, whom she met serendipitously while working in Germany. Much like Dan and his friend, the duo's birthdays are also mere hours apart and their lives share a number of eerie parallels, such as both having last names that "are a type of food."

Video Fix:

Harkening back to the days of Carl Sagan joining Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, frequent C2C guest Dr. Michio Kaku recently appeared on Conan O'Brien's new talk show, Conan. During his appearance, the popular theoretical physicist detailed the nature of String Theory and explained how it may unlock the secret of time travel. Should such manipulation of time become possible, Kaku joked, perhaps O'Brien could go back to warn his younger self about last year's infamous late night shake-up at NBC.

Today in Strangeness:

The first recorded display of the Aurora Borealis in the United States took place on this date in 1719 in New England. And Enterprise, Ala. unveiled its Boll Weevil Monument (1919) -- it's the one and only monument to an agricultural pest!

Tonight's Show, Saturday, December 11th:

In the first half, author Mary Roach joins Ian to discuss why science matters and how science changes us for the better or worse. Followed by internationally renowned hypnotherapist, Rick Collingwood, talking about resolutions and changing behavior for the New Year.

From 6-10 PM (PT) on Saturday night, Coast Insiders can hear an Art Bell - Somewhere in Time returns to December 15, 1999, when Open Lines callers speculated about Y2K.

PostSubject: FDA Censorship / Unmanned Weaponry:   Coast To Coast Am Radio With George Noory Icon_minitimeFri Dec 17, 2010 2:58 am

December 16, 2010 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

FDA Censorship / Unmanned Weaponry:

Constitutional lawyer specializing in food and drug law, Jonathan Emord, discussed the conflict of interests found within the FDA and their history with hiding the negative aspects of prescription drugs as well as the benefits of natural remedies. Additionally, he also talked about his research into unmanned military technology. "The agency is a captive of the drug industry, unfortunately," Emord lamented about the FDA, "that has caused it to be a broken agency. It approves unsafe drugs, knowingly." To illustrate his point, he detailed the saga of the drug Avandia, where reviewers inside the FDA repeatedly warned of dangerous side effects but were continually dismissed by their superiors. He cited one reviewer who was told by his superior in the agency that the FDA "had to maintain good relations with the drug companies because they are our customers."

Emord asserted that 15 to 20% of prescription drugs on the market today are "so obviously unsafe as to warrant their removal from the market." He explained that these are newer drugs, aggressively pushed into the marketplace by pharmaceutical companies in order to replace older and safer drugs whose patents had expired. According to Emord, the effect of this dangerous favoring of profit over safety has resulted in "over 290,000 deaths a year from the proper use of drugs prescribed by doctors." Compounding the problem, he said, the FDA is so beholden to the pharmaceutical industry that it also aggressively "forbids any statement that a nutrient treats a disease" whether there is proof or not. The simple reason for this, he said, is because if people started using nutrients to improve their wellness, then they would no longer need to turn to the drugs sold by pharmaceutical companies.

In discussing his research into unmanned military technology, an enthusiastic Emord declared that such weaponry will "change the face of battle." To that end, he stressed that, beyond their utilitarian benefits, these weapons will be powerful forces of psychological warfare. Calling them the "perfect antidote" to terrorism, Emord explained that once terrorists are identified within a region, they will be subject to unending surveillance and the "constant fear of immediate destruction." While unmanned vehicles have been in use for decades, he noted that they have particularly come into vogue in recent years as technology has improved, growing from 50 unmanned aircraft in 2000 to over 7,000 today. Ultimately, he said, the military hopes to use such unmanned devices on all three stages of the battlefield: air, land, and sea.

Angelic Encounters:

In the first hour, author John Ronner talked about encounters with angels. He described the "mysterious stranger" as one prevalent type of angelic meeting. In these instances, the entity "appears at an odd moment when you desperately need help" and seems to know all about the predicament. He observed that such encounters are "dream like," in that the person being helped never ponders the nature of the meeting until the stranger has departed. Ronner speculated that the angelic realm is merely a part of the larger universe which also contains our physical world. As such, he mused that modern science has "finally started catching up with the theologians and mystics," as it learns more about the complex structure of the universe which may allow for entities such as angels.

UFOs & Strange Beings:

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared reports on unusual bright orange lights observed over ocean beaches in Florida, people's encounters with lizard-skinned beings, and a glowing, 'gyroscope'-shaped craft that has been seen in Florida, Japan & Tunisia. Regarding the sightings of strange lights in Florida, she played two interviews that she conducted with government officials from the area who investigated separate, but similar, incidents from around the same time frame. One official was the Naples, Florida fire chief, Stephen McInerny, who personally saw the strange event. He described it as approximately seven lights that kept changing into different symmetrical shapes. Ultimately, he opined that the actions of these lights suggested that they were not flares nor something from our own military. More here.

In her second segment, Howe interviewed a man dubbed 'Mr. Jones,' who had an encounter with a reptilian-like entity in 1977. According to Jones, he woke up from sleeping when he realized he was floating and, subsequently, floated through the walls of his house into his driveway. He then caught a glimpse of a dome-like vehicle around the corner of his house and went to investigate. Turning the corner, he locked eyes with two beings that had dark green skin and large black eyes. He described their skin as rough like bark and having a color similar to the outside of an avocado. The stare down resulted in Jones being paralyzed and feeling as if he was grabbing an electrical circuit. When he was finally able to free himself from the stare, Jones was quickly and violently floated back to his bed. Wondering if it had all been a dream, he noted that his clothes were still cold from being outside and he saw the greenish glow of the craft slowly dissipate as if it were leaving the area .

Bringing things back around to her first segment, Howe then shared a report featuring two separate sightings of 'gyroscope'-shaped craft in Tunisia and Japan, respectively. The first interview was with a former Peace Corps volunteer named John, who saw the object in August of 1988. He recalled that it featured bizarre vivid colors that he'd "never seen on an airplane." Looking back on the event, he observed that, while the sighting happened very quickly, it also all seemed to "be in slow motion." The second interview was with a former professional wrestler who had a similar sighting while touring Japan in 1998. "Jack," as he was called, saw the strange lights while traveling on a tour bus between shows. Eerily, he had seen a picture of the "exact same" object just a few weeks prior to his sighting, during a dinner with a wealthy Japanese real estate mogul. The man told him that the craft was one of many strange objects belonging to "Star People" and that witnesses had seen it land in the remote mountainous areas of the country and extract something from the ground.

Evaluating Teachers:

During the first hour, retired San Francisco teacher Tom Berg talked about issues surrounding education evaluation. He put forward the argument that the No Child Left Behind act has had a deleterious effect on how both teachers and students are evaluated. To that end, Berg observed that teachers who "get those standards pounded into kids heads using very, very fearful terroristic techniques" get rewarded. Additionally, he declared that No Child Left Behind "turns kids into compliant zombies and it rewards the most submissive kids." As far as how to best evaluate the quality of an educator, Berg suggested that input from students should be taken seriously, because they spend the most time with their teachers and can attest to who is best engaging them in the learning process.

Today in Strangeness:

"Bona Saturnalia!" December 17th is the day the ancient Roman festival of Saturnalia began, in which masters and slaves were said to trade places. Project Blue Book was closed by the U.S. Air Force, who concluded after studying thousands of UFO reports that there was no evidence ETs were behind the sightings (1969). A prize of 100,000 francs was offered for contact with extraterrestrials by the French Academy of Science on this day in 1900. Martians were excluded however, as at the time, their civilization was considered an established fact.

Climate Change & Extreme Weather:

In the latter half of Monday's show, author Whitley Strieber spoke about climate change and extreme weather. We're seeing a "climactic oscillation, which is a shifting back and forth of extreme heat to extreme cold." The strange weather started last winter with a deep freeze that hit England, and this summer, it was so hot in Russia that huge forest areas had spontaneous combustion, he detailed. "So far this year we have recorded 4,100 record highs and 1,500 record lows," he continued.

The jet stream is key to all of this, said Strieber, explaining how northern areas like Greenland are warmer, while parts of southern Europe are colder. Because the North Atlantic Ocean heated up so much over the summer, the jet stream can't drop down to its normal route, he added. Eventually, extreme heat will cause methane to dissipate, which he foresees leading to a major alteration in climate-- the start of an ice age, with large parts of the Northern Hemisphere covered in snow, even during the summer.

Internet Control:

In the first hour, 'CyberWar' expert Charles R. Smith talked about new rules being considered by the FCC to control Internet usage. He characterized the situation as a "food fight" between Comcast and Netflix, with the cable company wanting to charge more for greater bandwidth usage, such as for streaming movies. Regarding efforts to eliminate pornography and other adult material from the Internet, Smith suggested that parents rather than government should act as gatekeepers for what their children view on the web.

Foreclosure Crisis:

2nd hour guest, financial advisor Catherine Austin Fitts discussed the continuing foreclosure crisis, and how many homeowners are now "underwater," i.e. they owe more than their home is worth. She associated the problem with criminal behavior on the part of some loan servicers, where collateral fraud has been rampant. For those underwater, she suggested finding a good pro bono attorney, paying attention to the nitty gritty details, and also demanding the debt note, which may have been lost or resold.

UFOs & Star of Bethlehem:

Author L.A. Marzulli discussed his latest research on the evidence of UFOs that fly with impunity in our skies and offered an explanation of the Bethlehem star of 2000 years ago. There is a preponderance of physical evidence for the ET/UFO phenomenon, and the number of sightings are on the rise, he said. He contended that alien beings do not come from other planets but are rather interdimensional or supernatural beings, who are nonetheless physical.

Fallen angels, who might have been 30 ft. tall giants, created the Nephilim (aliens or the Watchers) by mating with human women, he outlined, adding they may have also constructed huge megalithic structures like the one at Baalbek. Marzulli also touched on prophecies in the Book of Revelation, and his theory that aliens will offer a chip that "will be the greatest Trojan horse in the history of mankind," extending human life by hundreds of years.

Rather than a UFO or mothership, he suggested the Star of Bethlehem was a rare conjunction of the planet Jupiter next to the star Regulus. A group of priests in Babylon, the Magi, who were the kingmakers of the ancient world, observed this in this sky and determined an important event was about to take place. This coincided with Jesus' birth, which he said was actually Sept. 11, 3 AD. The reason Christmas is celebrated on December 25th has more to do with mirroring the ancient Roman holiday of Saturnalia, he explained.

SETI Update:

First hour guest, astronomer Seth Shostak shared SETI updates. SETI recently launched a new experiment called Project Dorothy, which involved 15 different countries around the world coordinating their search for ET signals among several nearby stars. It was developed for the 50th anniversary of Frank Drake's first search for ET life, which he had named Project Ozma.

Understanding Angels:

On Thursday's show, author John Ronner discussed the history of angels, and various types of encounters with them, as well as shared death experiences. He was joined during the second hour by Scott Degenhardt who recounted his encounter with his father's spirit. "I could feel the freshness of him having just left his physical body...we were having this wonderful reunion," he said, adding that he saw a tunnel open up and in it he could sense an entire realm of spiritual beings. An overseer spoke to his father, telling him that it was time to go, and they entered the tunnel, which then snapped closed.

Angelic encounters or interventions can take on different qualities, including hearing voices, Ronner reported. For instance, a woman trapped in her Florida home during Hurricane Andrew heard a voice telling her to put out her hand. When she did, a cushion flew into it that she used to protect herself during the storm. Ronner personally investigated a Wyoming case, in which a deranged man brought a bomb to an elementary school, and some of the children saw spiritual beings who warned them to move to a different location.

Angels, who could be considered entities that are more evolved than humans in spiritual form, have their own hierarchy. The most popular theory about angelic hierarchies is by Dionysius from around 500 AD, in which he proposed there are nine different orders, with the seraphim being the highest, and the guardian angels at the bottom of the scale, concerned with looking after human beings. Interestingly, in the Middle Ages, people kept diaries about their angelic encounters, and the more they focused on it, the more the encounters occurred, Ronner detailed.

Economy & Shroud of Turin:

First hour guest, author Jerome Corsi shared updates on the economy and the Shroud of Turin. In the coming year, he foresees increased bankruptcies in the European Union, as well as the United States, and a rise in the price of oil. Regarding the Shroud, he said it was incredible to see the cloth in person, which looks to him like a radiation burn.

Christmas Eve Special:

George Noory and friends celebrated Christmas Eve together on a live edition of the program. In the first hour, author and investigator Joshua P. Warren shared a Christmas Paranormal moment, discussing how sightings of Santa could relate to tulpas or thought forms. As many people are focused on the idea of Santa, their thoughts can be changed into frequencies that physically manifest themselves, he explained. Warren also shared a recent spooky encounter when he was snowed in at his museum (a former jail site) in Asheville. While sleeping overnight there, he was awakened by scratching noises, and then unseen hands yanked a coat off him.

Following Warren, four guests appeared in individual half-hour segments. First, author Rosemary Ellen Guiley talked about the Christmas Eve tradition of telling ghost stories by the hearthside. She also shared an account of a woman struggling with alcohol who had an angelic-type encounter that changed the course of her life. Next, Dr. Roger Leir expounded on alien implants, suggesting they may provide the strongest evidence yet for ET visitation and alien abduction.

Lionel Fanthorpe joined the show at the top of the third hour, sharing his thoughts on the spirit of generosity, which he said was exemplified by the innkeeper at Bethlehem who had no rooms when the pregnant Mary arrived, but cleaned out the stable for her to stay. He also related the intriguing testimony of a Texas woman who woke up on Christmas Eve, and saw what looked like a traditional Santa Claus in the adjoining room. He appeared transparent and she could see the Christmas tree lights through him. Intuitive researcher David Wilcock said he thinks the meaning of Christmas is "ultimately [about] the promise of achieving some sort of metaphysical transformation," as well as the bonding and joy shared among loved ones at this time of year. The evening closed with an hour of Miracle Open Lines.

Video Fix:

An assortment of videos are gathered together for IndyPosted's rather unusual end-of-the-year list, The 10 Most Ridiculous Records Set in 2010. Included are such illustrious activities as the largest group of people running into a wall, and the fastest consumption of cupcakes.

Today in Strangeness:

On Christmas Day in 1832, Latter Day Saints prophet Joseph Smith predicted an American Civil War and said it would start with the rebellion of South Carolina. Seven years ago, the ill-fated Beagle 2 probe, released from the Mars Express, disappeared shortly before its scheduled landing on the Red Planet.

Tonight's Show, Saturday, December 25th:

Where was Jesus for the first 30 years of his life and what was he taught? These are among the questions we'll explore when clairvoyant and historian Tricia McCannon joins us Christmas night with Ian Punnett. First hour guest, Bill Sweet, will discuss the power of prayer.

From 6-10pm PT, Coast Insider members can hear an Art Bell - Somewhere in Time show, a 3/3/99 discussion on SETI with Dr. H. Paul Shuch.

The Shroud of Turin:

On Monday night, George Knapp was joined by J.J. Hurtak and his wife Desiree, multi-faceted scholars & researchers, for a discussion and analysis of recent discoveries about the Shroud of Turin, a sacred relic thought by some to be the burial cloth of Jesus. The Hurtaks, and a group of specialists, were able to view the Shroud in person during its recent exhibition, and were impressed at the wealth of details that could be seen. They called into question the carbon dating of the Shroud (done in 1988) which indicated it was from the 14th century, noting that the samples given to laboratories were from a repaired area of the cloth and not part of the original fabric.

One intriguing area of research is the evidence that a " death certificate" was placed over the shroud and imprinted various letters and words into it. Faint letters in Greek and Hebrew spelled such phrases as "He who is called Jesus," and "taken down in the early morning," said J.J. Interestingly, these linguistic findings correlate with a vision J.J. Hurtak had in the 1970s with an "aleph" Hebrew letter on the throat of a primordial man, just as was found on the Shroud cloth.

The markings in the Shroud linen appear to show the residue of a crucifixion, with 120 flagellation marks that are consistent with the ancient Roman whips, Desiree reported. Further, there are marks on the wrist rather than the palms, which would be necessary in order to hang someone from a cross, she added. Jesus might be considered an "ultraterrestrial," able to change his body into light and materialize in different places, said Desiree, while J.J. noted that the message of the Shroud is more important than the Shroud itself: "It shows us we can step across space and time, and see that there's a higher connectedness that we have with the divine." For more, see this article by the Hurtaks.

Wild Horses Update:

Appearing during the first hour was wild horse activist Jerry Reynoldson, who works with Madeleine Pickens on helping to save America's wild horses from round-ups & slaughter. Pickens is drawing attention to the issue with a float in the upcoming Rose Bowl Parade. The horses are in good condition when they are caught, which shows that the argument they have no food to eat is false, Reynoldson pointed out.

Geopolitics, War, & the New World Order:

On Wednesday night, guest host John B. Wells ( email) spoke with political scientist and personal security expert Joel Skousen about the growing government assault on privacy and liberty, as well as New World Order and war scenarios. The current security precautions such as at airports are not really to stop terrorists, but to ferret out potential dissidents and resistors who could pose a problem for the future police state, he suggested. We are already seeing the three aspects necessary to establish this police state, Skousen outlined-- a false threat of terrorism, thug-like individuals in the police, and a judiciary that won't prosecute the police.

He laid out a financial end game in which the US national debt will become untenable, with the rise of inflation, sometime between 2020-2025. People have been diverted with the false threat of terrorism in order to cover up "our real enemies," Russia & China, with whom the US will battle in a World War, he continued. "In the aftermath of that, they're going to have an excuse to walk away from the debt," because the US financial centers and computers will be destroyed.

Skousen described a Russian surgical nuclear attack on 15 American cities with military facilities such as San Diego, Seattle, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Colorado Springs, and Washington DC. While 20% of Americans will die in such attacks, he argued that nuclear attacks are survivable and promoted the idea that people construct fall-out shelters in their basements, as well as increase their self-sufficiency, as an EMP attack will knock out electricity for up to a year. He also foresees that America will go to war against Iran, probably in 2011-- the U.S. is just waiting for the right provocation.

Analyzing Airport Security:

First hour guest, privacy and technology expert Lauren Weinstein discussed TSA's scanning & security procedures at US airports. Characterizing the procedures as "security theater," he commented that the "backscatter" scanners have not been demonstrated to be safe from radiation risks by an independent third party. Further, the scanners are likely to be ineffective against smart terrorists who know how to evade the system, he added.

Weekend Edition January 3, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Disclosure & Space Review:

Returning from his vacation on Sunday night, George Noory welcomed C2C science advisor Richard C. Hoagland for a discussion about the concept of disclosure and ET contact, as well as NASA and the space program. Hoagland referenced Arthur C . Clarke's books, such as 2010: The Year We Make Contact, and suggested that writers such as Clarke were using a kind of code to share inside information. Contact or disclosure has already taken place-- not the revealing of ET beings, but the remnants of their technology or machinery, he explained. He cited the Norway Spiral and Moscow Tetrahedron, which appeared on the same day at the end of 2009, as possible examples of this technology.

He also discussed the possibility that NASA has a secret space program. "I'm thinking that maybe some of the UFO traffic, those cables that Assange threatened to reveal, in fact has nothing to do with UFOs-- it's all about secret spacecraft," he said. Hoagland also analyzed the deeper theological implications of the Pope's new willingness to "baptize aliens," which suggests to him that the Church is aware that ETs are part of the human family.

A Psychic Look at 2011:

First hour guest, psychic Joseph Jacobs shared what he sees in store for the new year ahead. Using a 52-card divination system, he explained that "numerology is spiritual arithmetic." 2011 will be a year to build or break down, he said. Among his predictions:

Increased terrorism, especially in Asia.
Difficulties or war in Somalia, between March 19th and May 10th.
March will have a lot of flooding, and water problems.
Russia will undergo stresses related to either terrorism or conflicts with neighboring countries from Jan. 20th through March 20th.

Futurist Forecasts:

On Saturday night, Professors Peter Bishop and Andy Hines from the Futures Studies program at the University of Houston joined Ian Punnett for a discussion on the techniques for long term forecasting and what futurists are seeing down the road for the world. Appearing during the third hour, futurists Garry Golden and Terry Grim discussed their research into emerging trends. "The future doesn't exist," mused Bishop, "it's much more a concept of our ideas and our images and our hopes and fears." While futurism can be used to extrapolate the status quo into the future, Hines was quick to point out that such an "expected future" rarely ever happens. Ideally, he said, "the whole point of the future is to change the present decisions" and to create a more preferable world... cont.

January 4, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Studying Near-Death Experiences:

On Monday night, Dr. Sam Parnia of the Weill Cornell Medical Center discussed the results of his studies of near-death experiences (NDEs), based on patients who went into cardiac arrest. About 10-20% of these patients reported having an NDE. Their descriptions included being at peace, seeing a welcoming light, deceased relatives coming to greet them, a sense of judging themselves, seeing a being made of light, and something symbolic (like a river or gate) that tells them if they go beyond it, they can't come back.

After having an NDE, some patients report being transformed by the experience, becoming less selfish, less materialistic, and less afraid of dying. He also detailed cases of "deathbed lucidity," where 24 hours before dying, terminally ill people describe seeing beings of light, or deceased relatives. One of the most profound NDE cases he studied was that of a three-year old boy, who later drew pictures of his experience. 'When you die, you see a bright lamp, and you're connected by a cord to it,' the boy explained to him.

Dr. Parnia has concluded that "the whole concept of what we are...mind & consciousness, doesn't seem to disintegrate after people have died, at least not in the first phase of death." This has been borne out by the fairly recent field of resuscitation science, using drugs or CPR to restart the heart, he explained. In 2008, Parnia launched the world's largest-ever study of near-experiences-- The AWARE (AWAreness during REsuscitation) study, which will yield further evidence and resulsts.

Mysterious Bird Die-Off:

First hour guests, radio host Alex Jones and researcher Nick Begich commented on the recent bird die-off in Beebe, Arkansas (around 2,000 blackbirds fell to their deaths over a one-mile area) and the connection to possible secret testing or experiments. The birds' organs were pulverized internally, almost liquefied, and one of the prime suspects as to the cause would be some type of electromagnetic test or energy weapons, said Jones. It's possible that Project HAARP, some type of micro blast, or strange weather manipulation might be the explanation, Begich added. For more, see this article by Jones and Paul Watson.

Forecasting 2011:

In the first half of Wednesday's show, professional astrologer Linda Schurman shared her predictions for 2011 and beyond. A new cycle starting in March will encourage people to "wake up and take command over their lives," she said, adding that there needs to be a re-localization of families, friends, and groups, banding together to help one another. Her financial investment suggestions include gold and silver, data security companies, and energy & agricultural commodities.

The economy will worsen, and there'll be an upsurge in crime, terrorism and violence this year, she predicted. But the next great crisis, she continued, will be global water shortages caused in part by droughts and fires. Schurman said we'll come out of the current depression by 2018, only to fall into another one by 2020. However the period of 2024-2026 will usher in a new kind of economy that is more egalitarian, and a new energy source that doesn't run on fossil fuels. She also foresees a significant earthquake on the West Coast that will extend down into Mexico, occurring between May and June 2012.

In the latter half of the show, trends analyst Gerald Celente discussed some of the top trends for 2011. He also sees increased levels of crime, with older people becoming involved. "Crime is becoming as American as apple pie," he quipped, from the welfare cheat to the Wall St. con artists to the politicians. Another trend will be a "Crackdown on Liberty," with encouragement to report on fellow citizens, and mechanical drones (already in use Houston and Miami) spying on people, he warned.

Other trends included "Screw the People"-- efforts by the "authorities" to extract funds to meet fiscal obligations, and "Alternative Energy"-- employing new physics to create useful devices. Celente also debuted a new trend he called "Know the Hand that Feeds You." He foresees food prices skyrocketing, and increased incidents of tainted foods & recalls, leading to a big demand for clean foods.

PostSubject: Manwolf/Dogman Sightings:   Coast To Coast Am Radio With George Noory Icon_minitimeSun Jan 09, 2011 1:21 am

January 8, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Manwolf/Dogman Sightings:

In the first half of the program, researcher and author Linda Godfrey reported on sightings of an unknown upright-walking canine known as the 'Manwolf' or 'Dogman.' Witnesses describe these creatures as 5 to 7 feet tall, extremely muscular, covered in fur, with large fangs, the head of a wolf or German Shepherd, and somehow imbued with a special sentience (perhaps as a result of walking on their hind legs). According to Godfrey, every part of the United States has its own version of the creature, but the largest concentration of sightings are around the Great Lakes. In addition, there are what appear to be migratory routes to Oklahoma and some south eastern states, she added.

Godfrey provided details from a recent case that may have involved a canine cryptid. On December 29, 2010, a Quarter Horse was found dead in the driveway of a stable near Deerfield, Wisconsin. The animal suffered a fatal neck wound that looked as though something had taken a single swipe at it and cut the jugular, carotid, and part of the trachea, Godfrey explained. A similar incident occurred only 15 miles away in Jefferson, Wisconsin, where, in 1972, a woman reported seeing a tall hairy humanoid on her property. The creature left claw marks on the side of the woman's house seven feet above the ground, as well as entered her barn and put a 30-inch gash into a horse's neck, she noted.

This past October a group of six people ventured to Wisconsin's infamous Bray Road, where they came face-to-face with the roadway's namesake beast, Godfrey continued. Four of the six reported seeing two creatures standing 6 to 7 feet tall, moving upright on their hind legs, with canine silhouettes and yellowish eyes, she said. According to the witnesses, as soon as the creatures saw they were being watched they dropped to all fours and ran off into the darkness. Godfrey also shared the case of a fisherman who confronted a walking canine creature on the banks of the Alabama River, as well as the 2006 account of a father and son who encountered a 'Manbat.' The flying creature had a 10-ft wingspan, emitted an ear-piercing shriek, and caused the men to become immediately ill, Godfrey revealed.

The remainder of the show was devoted to Open Lines, with several callers sharing their own creature encounter stories.

Time Shifts:

On Sunday night's program, guest host Whitley Strieber was joined by psi researcher, author, and experiencer, Starfire Tor, who discussed time anomalies as well as her predictions for 2011. Anne Strieber also joined the conversation to discuss a time shift experience that was shared by the Striebers and Tor during a visit to the Magic Castle in Los Angeles.

The trio recounted their experience and explained that, during this particular event, Anne and Tor went to use the ladies' room at the Magic Castle while Whitley waited outside. Despite the bathroom being empty when they entered it and Whitley outside watching the door, a woman somehow appeared inside the room and exited behind Anne when she left. Recalling the event, an incredulous Anne pondered that "she had not been in there, so how could she have come out of there?" Having investigated the building to make sure that there was no potential for chicanery by the resident magicians, Tor concluded that "the elements of at least two co-existing time lines were edited together." Based on her investigation and documentation of the case as well as the fact that it was experienced by three people, Tor asserted that it is "the most important one that has ever been known to happen."

Tor, who made a number of correct predictions for 2010 such as the plane crash which killed the Polish president as well as the Icelandic volcano eruption, shared some of her precognitive visions for 2011. She predicted that it will be announced that a "new science" has been discovered, which can be used to rebuff incoming objects like meteors or asteroids. According to Tor, this new technology will also be used to restore the ozone layer and cleanse the atmosphere as well. "These are all the strides you can look forward to in 2011," she declared. Additionally, she foresees the status of cetaceans, like whales and dolphins, will change "from animal to non-human person." This change in perspective will constitute an "important step" for humans which will eventually lead to "public ET contact."

Mysterious Animal Deaths:

In the first hour of Sunday night's program, researcher Joseph P. Farrell shared his thoughts on the massive, worldwide wave of bird and fish deaths. He suggested that the events could be caused by either weather manipulation or the testing of electromagnetic technology such as HAARP. Given the variety of species that have been affected, Farrell ruled out biological weapons as a possible cause for the deaths. He also observed that the wave of animal deaths has had a sociological effect, where "it seems to be planting a meme, in the cultural consciousness, of dire apocalyptic things happening."

Environmenal Illness:

On Saturday night's show, Ian Punnett was joined by author Faye Hueston, who shared the story of her personal struggle with environmental illness and the long search she undertook to find a cure. In the first hour, oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer commented on findings by an Oregon State University professor that call into question the size of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch... cont.

Today in Strangeness:

The USSR launches Venera 6 bound for a parachute landing on Venus in 1969. Also on this date, the U.S. Army establishes 1st radar contact with the Moon (1946), oil is discovered in Texas (1901), and Thomas Paine publishes "Common Sense" (1776).

Tonight's Show, Monday, January 10th:

"it seems to be planting a meme, in the cultural consciousness, of dire apocalyptic things happening."

hmm, or perhaps we think it so we create it...I often wonder about all this apocalyptic talk. We are a generation obsessed with the end of the world and human demise. If that is our focus on a grand scale, and we are co-creators of our reality, what do you think we are creating???

Start thinking happy little bunnies in meadows of daisies people!!!! :joyr:

Metaphysics, Contacts, & Cetaceans:

On Monday's show, author, contactee, and international speaker Patricia Cori shared her metaphysical interpretations about the universe, cetaceans such as dolphins and whales, Atlantis, and humanity's path. "My perception is the life that we're in now, this physical reality, is like a tube, and we come in as light beings, like full spirits...we go through this tube of 3D illusion...and then we pass back out [upon death] and return to light...source," she explained, adding that as spirit becomes more evolved, it becomes less dense.

Humans are multidimensional beings, she said, citing as an example the dream state, in which we experience another plane of reality. In addition to ongoing ET disclosure, she interestingly suggested that cetaceans "are going to be recognized as conscious people," and have higher levels of consciousness and compassion than humans, and communicate with ETs who are in underwater craft. Regarding ancient Atlantis (which she said part of is now in the Azores), the 13 original crystal skulls were united to form a galactic computer there.

She also touched on her channeled communications with Sirian beings on the "6th dimension," who shared a message for humanity with her-- that we are galactic citizens and our time of being alone is coming to an end. Cori also expounded on such topics as immortality, crop circles, and 2012 (which she does not believe is an Armageddon scenario).

Gun Laws:

First hour guest, research scientist John Lott criticized the push for more restrictive gun laws in the wake of the Arizona shooting. A plan to ban the size of ammunition clips has been proposed, but there's no evidence such a ban would do anything to reduce crime, he commented. He also noted that one of the people who tackled the Arizona shooter was legally carrying a concealed handgun, and this emboldened his life-saving actions. A C2C Insta-Poll was conducted regarding people's views on gun laws in the US.

Pic Fix:

In this intriguing slideshow from the New York Times, a variety of vintage illustrations depict how our moon has been viewed in classical texts, science-fiction, and other sources.

Today in Strangeness:

Welcome to 1/11/11! Snowfall was recorded for the first time on this date in Los Angeles in 1949. William Herschel discovered Titania and Oberon, two moons of Uranus, on this day in 1787.

Live Chat & Tonight's Show, Tuesday, January 11th:

Coast Insiders, join us for a Live Chat with George Noory tonight at 8pm PT/11pm ET. It's a great opportunity to informally dialogue with George, and ask him the questions on your mind! Then, on Coast to Coast AM, Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona, Dr. Gary Schwartz, will discuss his latest work on quantifying the spirit world including contacting the dead in the laboratory, expanding on the work of Harry Houdini, why skeptics fail to see the big picture, and progress on the development of a 'Soul Phone.'
