Mind Control & Self-Realization:

On Monday's show, doctor of Psychology and Metaphysics, Eldon Taylor discussed his new book What If?, and how people can meet the challenges of self-realization & actualization. He also reviewed his studies of mind programming, and subliminal suggestion. Television, he pointed out, is a type of mind control or hypnosis that puts people in a Alpha brain state, and a higher level of suggestibility. Astonishingly, by the time a person reaches age 65, they will have spent nine years of their lives watching TV, he reported.

Advertisers sometimes embed demonic or violent subliminal images in order to create a sense of arousal in the consumer, as this will make their product more memorable, he detailed. But, this practice, and the use of increased violence & sex in entertainment vehicles, has caused a desensitization of arousal, wherein ever more graphic images are used to get a reaction from the audience, Taylor said. One possible effect from this is a dramatic decrease in the amount of empathy that teenagers are capable of feeling, he noted.

Further, advertisers try to keep consumers in an anxious state, so they will feel they need their product to fit in or be liked, Taylor continued. People can experience self-actualization (realizing their potential) by helping those in need-- these actions are rewarded by positive neurochemicals, he shared. Using meditation, or thought experiments, a person can clarify their belief structures, and understand their biases and conflicts, he added.

Japan & Libya Analysis:

First hour guest, investigative reporter Greg Hunter talked about Japan, Libya, and current events. The radioactive contamination in Japan from the damaged nuclear plants is an unparalleled problem, he commented, and we don't know the full extent of yet. Regarding the attacks on Libya, he noted that they weren't approved by Congress, and that passing it off to NATO still means there'll be heavy US involvement.

Oil Spills, Solar Cycles, & UFOs:

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared four reports on Thursday night. As we approach the one year anniversary of the BP spill, her first segment looked at how Corexit dispersant and crude oil still persist in the Gulf region. And many people along the coast from New Orleans to Pensacola, Florida, are seeking medical help for coughing, nausea, dizziness and other ailments. She spoke with neurologist Dr. Rodney Soto who believes the symptoms are directly related to exposure to Corexit and the oil.

Linda discussed the world's first macro-sized quantum machine in her second report. The device, which received the 2010 Science Breakthrough Award, is big enough to see with the human eye, having the width of a human hair. She interviewed the inventor, Prof. Andrew Cleland, who explained the physics behind the machine. He also noted that their research is federally funded because the U. S. government, military, and banks are concerned someone could come up with a quantum computer that can rapidly crack prime numbers - the main encryption system used today, and this could threaten national security.

The Solar Cycle 24 maximum, occurring during 2012-2013, is going to be small, perhaps the smallest in 200 years, according to astrophysicist David Hathaway, whom Linda spoke with. We could still be hit by a devastating coronal mass ejection, though we now have warning systems in place to alert satellite operators about the problem, he noted.

In her last segment, details of an intriguing 2008 sighting of a mysterious aerial craft in Levittown, Pennsylvania were presented. Witness Denise Murter described seeing "squares of light" fall from a craft onto nearby trees as though they were being sampled in a kind of experiment. "It looked like it was snowing in June! And it was coming down fast and it was sparkling. It looked like millions of lightning bugs," she said. More here.

Quakes & Earth Changes:

First hour guest, Stan Deyo presented an update on earth changes. Interestingly, he's found that at the same time as the great quake hit Japan on March 11th there was seismic activity recorded at Yellowstone ( related graphics). He suggested that a great pool of magma underneath Yellowstone is connected to an even larger undersea pool of magma that stretches to the Fukushima quake site. He also predicted that we'll see another mega-quake somewhere in the Pacific Rim in the near future.

Poltergeists:

In the first half of Friday's show, investigative reporter Michael Clarkson ( book link) talked about his research into poltergeists and paranormal phenomena. Having reviewed 75 cases of alleged poltergeist activity, Clarkson contended that "we're dealing with haunted people rather than haunted buildings." He pointed to high stress levels in adolescents entering puberty as a common denominator amongst the cases he's investigated. Additionally, Clarkson said that research done on these "poltergeist agents" after the activity had dissipated revealed that they suffer from a "slightly higher rate of epilepsy and schizophrenia." When all of these factors come together, he said, it forms the "perfect psychic storm" which manifests itself as "recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis," where objects are seemingly moved by unseen forces.

Based on his research, Clarkson surmised that this "poltergeist energy" only lasts a few weeks to a couple of months and generally tends to dissipate as the stress levels in the home decrease. He dismissed the idea that poltergeist activity is evil, as the cases he's investigated suggest a "mischievous intent" rather than outright malevolence. Clarkson credited the reports of police officers who investigated poltergeist incidents as key sources for his research, since law enforcement officials risk their credibility by providing honest accounts of the strange activity they have witnessed. Conversely, Clarkson lamented that victims of poltergeist activity are often reticent to bring in paranormal investigators, due to fear of ridicule or media attention, and, if they do so, it happens when the activity has begun to dissipate.

Open Lines:

The latter half of the show featured Open Lines and included Leanne in Alabama warning of psychic dreams she has been having which portend the end of the world. Having had previous premonitions which came true, she was particularly troubled by these recent apocalyptic visions. In these dreams, Leanne said, she is in a barren field where there were once houses that have now disappeared. She then manages to find a ride to civilization, but, upon her arrival, the people there soon die and their houses vanish as well, leaving Leanne alone again. So vivid are these dreams, she said, that she wakes up begging God to "just take me" so that she is not the last person left on Earth. Chillingly, she also revealed that her grandmother and mother have been having the same dreams.

Later, Gretchen in North Hollywood talked about her conversion to veganism and how it has improved her life. Saying that her whole family switched to a vegan lifestyle ten years ago, she claimed that they have all seen significant weight loss without dieting or exercise. "It just happens," she said, "the weight just falls off people. I've seen it so many times." Gretchen implored people to switch to a "plant-based diet," since it will benefit their health and also be merciful to animals. Other callers during the evening included Curtis in Atlanta who shared the story of his friend's ghost encounter which nearly killed him and April in Utah who gave George "an energy gift" via the phone.

Weekend Bookworm:

Having spent seven years as the National Enquirer's chief reporter on the paranormal, Paul Bannister traveled the world in search of the strange and unusual stories that would catch shoppers' attention in their supermarket checkout line. Now, he's compiled the back story to those tales as well as his inside look at the world of "scandal sheets" with his memoir Tabloid Man & The Baffling Chair of Death. Promising to reveal insider secrets that the tabloids would rather keep hidden, Bannister recounts his meetings with famous celebrities and his journeys to the far reaches of the Earth looking for the next shocking headline.

Weekend Edition April 4, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Biblical Interpretation & Prophecy:

On Sunday's show with George Noory, author, evangelical Christian, former businessman, and Air Force officer Chuck Missler discussed biblical interpretation and prophecy. Fallen angels cohabited with human women to produce hybrids known as the Nephilim in the Bible, he said, adding that other ancient cultures speak of these beings-- the Greek's demigods, and Native American's Star People, for example.

In a kind of "cosmic warfare," Satan has an agenda to thwart the plan of God using deception, Missler stated, connecting this with UFOs which he said are also involved in deception. Further, we may see a great deception by Satan using extraterrestrials as an explanation for events, he added.

The prophetic Book of Revelation is "the most fruitful and rewarding of all the studies in the Bible," but readers should be careful of how they interpret allegories, he commented. Regarding the May 21st Judgment Day publicized by Harold Camping and his religious group, Missler expressed surprise that people supposedly knowledgeable about scripture would make this proclamation. Divination (such as predicting when the 2nd coming of Christ will occur) is prohibited by the Bible, which also says the "no man knows the day or hour when these things will happen," he noted.

Jordan Codices:

First hour guest, lecturer Ken Hanson talked about the discovery of the Jordan Codices, a set of books in cast lead that purport to depict the very earliest evidence we have of the Judeo-Christian movement. Yet, Hanson noted that the imagery in the books bear a resemblance to a known forgery reportedly found in Egypt in 2010.

Ancient Religious Books:

Appearing in the middle two hours of Saturday's show with Ian Punnett, British scholar and author David Elkington spoke about the extraordinary discovery of 70 ancient metal religious books that could alter the world's view of biblical history ( related article). Elkington, who was privileged to examine the lead tablets in person, said the books contain images and a form of paleo-Hebrew writing, measure about three to four inches across, many are sealed, and almost all appear to be authentic. "If they are forgeries, what are they forgeries of, because you don't forge something that's unique," he noted. Laboratory metallurgical tests confirmed they are of ancient provenance, he continued, adding that the book form of the metal documents points to an early Christian origin... cont.

HAARP & Weather Control:

On Monday's show, electrical engineer and researcher Brooks Agnew talked about Project HAARP-styled technology, used by the U.S., China and Russia to artificially manipulate the ionosphere & weather, and potentially control populations and armies. By using different frequencies, HAARP technology can cause structures in the ground to vibrate, bringing on geologic effects such as earthquakes, he explained. The recent quake in Japan might have been induced this way, he speculated, adding that of the countries that have this technology, China would have the most to gain by Japan's loss. There were also signs (a lavender colored sky) just before the quakes in Chile and Haiti that indicate possible involvement of the technology, he added.

Using HAARP technology to manipulate the weather is the "perfect weapon" that leaves no fingerprints-- "It's [viewed as] an act of God that comes in and directs a hurricane into your path, or starves you out of rain for a couple years, or causes a summer of heat so bad that your wheat cooks into dust," Agnew commented (he demonstrated some of this technology on an episode of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura). HAARP techniques have also been applied as a non-lethal weapon/psychological operation during wartime, as well as possible experiments on civilians, he detailed.

Agnew shared an update on his North Pole Inner Earth Expedition ( NPIEE), which he hopes will take place in 2012. Traveling on a Russian icebreaker, the expedition will explore an area above the Arctic Circle, that no one has ever visited by sea before. According to ancient legend, it is here that an entrance to an inner earth is said to exist.

John Titor Update:

First hour guest, Oliver Williams gave an update on alleged time traveler John Titor, who via computer bulletin boards made several accurate predictions about the last decade. In the last year or so, there's been some speculation that the whole exercise of the Titor posts was that someone was trying to send messages to specific individuals, "whether it was to other versions of John that were time traveling, or to people that knew what they were reading and we didn't." The author(s) might have been tech savvy scientists, not time travelers, but people who had information they wanted to reveal, Williams suggested.

Global Turmoil & New World Order:

On Tuesday's show, author and researcher Steve Quayle discussed a variety of issues and situations including the machinations of the New World Order, turmoil in Libya and the Middle East, Japan, the potential New Madrid quake, angelic wars, and biblical prophecy. "We're at a crossroads with so many strange, anomalous, and very dangerous events all taking place at once," he said. The nuclear situation in Japan is much worse than we're being told, and 1/3 of the north island is "probably going to be uninhabitable," he noted, adding that ionizing radiation stores up and is very difficult to get rid of (he provided a link to the free online book, Nuclear War Survival Skills).

Looking at the timing of the attacks in Libya, and Middle East revolutions, Quayle believes they are part of a master plan by the Illuminati or New World Order to generate WWIII. There's a spiritual war going on between the fallen angels and the holy angels, and this is problematic for the Illuminati, who work overtime to try and deny that the Bible is relevant, and attribute their bloodlines to Lucifer, he said.

As prophesied in the Book of Revelation, Quayle warned that a time is coming soon when the 'mark of the beast' will be preceded by a stencil, laser tattoo or "smart dot" people will wear in order to conduct business. He also foresees the US having a two-tiered currency system, one that can be used only inside the country, and another for global transactions. FEMA has started to prepare for a huge quake along the New Madrid fault, he said. Should such a devastation occur, there are estimates of 4.2 million people relocating, innumerable deaths, the Great Lakes drained, and the Mississippi River widened to several hundred miles, in effect bisecting the country.

Japan & UFOs:

First hour guest, unorthodox ufologist and activist Norio Hayakawa commented on the situation in Japan, and noted that UFOs and unusual lights have been seen there before and after the March 11th earthquake (most recently at the Sakurajima volcano site). Hayakawa will be one of the featured presenters at the Wake Up Now! conference taking place in Albuquerque at the end of April.

Paranormal & Astral Experiences:

On Wednesday's show, engineer/scientist and OBE expert Albert Taylor spoke about his astral travels, paranormal investigations, and recent trips to Egypt and Stonehenge. One of the interesting things he noted about seeing Stonehenge in person for the first time was that he'd been there before on astral travels, and the site looked very familiar to him. However, when he'd traveled there astrally there were more lintels (horizontal stones), which led him to conclude that when he was out of body, he'd time traveled to an earlier era of Stonehenge.

The word astral means 'of the stars,' which is a key to what astral travel is all about, he explained. When someone has an out-of-body experience, they are not limited to where they can go, he continued, adding that as a person evolves in their spiritual awareness, they can access higher vibrational levels of the astral plane. Taylor posited a theory that one day the mysterious 'dark matter' in the cosmos will be found to be one and the same as the substance that composes the astral plane.

He discussed his investigations into paranormal activity at a haunted house in Rialto, CA, where he used a robot to investigate a secret passageway, and at a site in Palmdale, CA, where a 13-year-old girl may have been attacked by a negative entity-- she was videotaped with welts forming on her body with strange symbols. Taylor also detailed his investigations at the Tower of London, and at a graveyard that dates back to the Spanish-American War.

Live Like It's Your Last Year:

First hour guest, author Clint Arthur discussed his Last Year of Your Life program, in which people try to live each day for one year like it's the last year of their lives. By looking at your life as though you only have a set amount of time left, participants are emboldened to create their legacy, and do things that are really important to them now, he explained.

Demonology:

In the first half of Thursday's show, author and Anglican Priest, Lionel Fanthorpe, talked about his research into demonology and shadowy deities. The origin of evil may stem from our inherent nature to be free, and thus we have the ability to make choices that are wrong, he explained. He described King Solomon's capturing of 72 powerful demons, including Aini-- a formidable looking being with three-heads-- a serpent, a cat, & a man, Allocen-- a cavalry man with the face of a lion, and Amduscias-- who appears as a unicorn and has abnormal power over music.

Regarding the origin of the supernatural beings known as the jinn, he posited that our distant ancestors may have faced hazardous living conditions in which in order to survive, they learned how to inhabit other dimensions. Fanthorpe also recounted an incident in which he conducted an exorcism after school kids played with a Ouija board, and a faceless creature appeared in their dormitory.

Ancient Wisdom:

In the second half, Peter Canova, a student of esoteric knowledge for over 30 years, discussed the relationship between ancient wisdom and modern science. He spoke about the ancient mystery schools-- a network of spiritual academies such as the Eleusinian school in Greece, the Pythagorean school in Italy, and the Druidic centers in the British Isles. "The purpose of these schools...was to preserve a sacred wisdom concerning the creation, humanity's origin, and the true nature of reality," he noted.

Canova compared the ancient spiritual traditions to the new theories of quantum physics. Among the parallels: ancient wisdom said that light is the one energy of the universe and forms existence, quantum physics & relativity say that matter originates as light; ancient wisdom teaches that spirit projects itself into successive levels of consciousness to form the totality of reality, while string theory in physics indicates that parallel dimensions are formed in successive levels.

Planet X & 2012:

On Sunday night's show, guest host Rob Simone was joined by former CNN science features news producer, Marshall Masters, who discussed the connection between Planet X and 2012 as well as how they relate to Edgar Cayce's predictions and the Kolbrin Bible. He detailed how his research began with attempting to determine the cause of global warming, which led to the conclusion that the changing weather patterns are primarily driven by the sun. In trying to find the source of the sun's erratic behavior, Masters and his research colleagues ultimately concluded, after ruling out all over factors, that there must be "an interloper" in the solar system, i.e. Planet X, that is affecting the sun. According to him, they based this determination on measured perturbations in the orbits and atmospheric upheavals of the other planets in the solar system.

On the nature of Planet X, Masters surmised that it is likely a brown dwarf in a "long period elliptical orbit" where it "zooms in and zooms out" of the solar system. He speculated that the object has a 3,600 year orbit and that it's last appearance was what caused the infamous "ten plagues of Exodus." In light of that, Masters contended that we are currently "at the cusp of one of these catastrophic, punctuated events in our planet's timeline." Connecting the object with the Mayan Calendar, Masters said that the sun's activity is expected to be extremely high in December of 2012, which is when he expects people to first be able to see Planet X with the naked eye. This arrival of object near Earth, he said, would initially result in meteorite showers, followed by a polar shift, where "our references as to what time and gravity are, those are going to be in a state of flux." Masters described the tr ue disastrous effects of the polar shift to be less the result of the event itself and more due to Earth re-settling after it has happened.

He pointed to the Avebury Crop Formation from July of 2008 as a mysterious warning sign of events which will unfold in the future. Masters explained that the formation, which appears to include the planets in our solar system, is a "time stamp reference" to December 21, 2012. Additionally, he observed that the message seems to suggest that Pluto will be greatly affected by Planet X, where it will either "spin out into space or spiral into the sun." As to the origins of the Avebury Crop Formation, Masters ascribed the source to a "benign species that are trying to communicate with us and to convey timely information to warn us to be prepared and to deal with it as a serious threat." With that said, he stressed the need to avoid being afraid of what might unfold and, instead, accept that it is "just a physical process that's going on and we'll get through it."

Piracy & Terrorism:

During the first hour of Sunday's program, journalist and adventurer Robert Young Pelton presented reports from the front lines of terrorism and piracy. He traced the origins of the Middle East upheaval to a breakdown of "post-colonial power structures" fueled by a massive increase in disaffected young people in these nations. Regarding the war in Afghanistan, he pointed to Pakistan as the true problem area in the region and opined that the nation's tacit support of the Taliban is because they want to dissuade their rival, India, from engaging in another war. Later, Pelton detailed how the rise in Somalian pirates began when Somalia's "government fell apart" and the nation's Coast Guard, originally trained to prevent piracy, decided to embrace the tactic as a way of making money. So widespread is the practice now, he said, that ransoms generated by piracy could total over $200 million in 2011.

Conspiracies & Politics:

In the first half of Monday's show, Navy SEAL, wrestler, actor, governor, and bestselling author Jesse Ventura discussed his pursuit for the truth about conspiracies and the American political system. "I love my country but not my government," he commented, adding that the Democrat and Republican parties were akin to going into the soda section of a grocery store and only being offered a choice between Coke and Pepsi, in other words, a two-party dictatorship. The former Minnesota governor said he would consider running as Cong. Ron Paul's running mate in the 2012 presidential race if Paul would drop out of the Republican party and run as an independent.

The US military is "the strong-arm of the corporations," and this has been going on a lot longer than you would think, he noted. Ventura talked about conspiracies in the JFK assassination, and the 9-11 attacks, as well as FEMA camps in the United States. For his TV series, Conspiracy Theory, they shot footage at a camp in Texas that had barbed wire facing in, in order to keep people from leaving, he reported. That particular episode only aired once, before being pulled from the schedule, he lamented. Ventura also spoke out in favor of WikiLeaks, and pot legalization.

------------------

In the second half, radio host Alex Jones shared his commentary on various current events, and revealed suppressed information. While there is concern about the spread of radiation from Japan, the US adds fluoride to tap water which contains radioactive isotopes, and now the EPA is raising levels of the amount of radiation that is considered safe in food & water, he admonished.

Jones also spoke out against TSA's security procedures at airports, citing incidents where young children are invasively touched and even drug tested. Further, he warned that "federally funded goon squads" will soon be stationed on the streets, at train stations, and various checkpoints to conduct random security procedures as a way to break our will, and train us to be slaves..."and if Americans will put up with this, they'll put up with anything."

Secret Space War:

Back from his trip to Amsterdam, Richard C. Hoagland articulated his theory of a secret space program, and its possible connection to the 9-11 attacks, in the second half of Tuesday's program. Clandestine groups are involved in a secret space war, "and the terrestrial equivalent to cover this fact, is the so-called War on Terror...that's why we have hundreds of thousands of troops stationed at key strategic positions around this planet, having nothing to do with the ostensible reasons why they're there," he explained.

There are six groups involved in the space wars, and two of them are non-terrestrial-- possibly humans that used advanced technology to develop civilizations off world, he suggested. Japan, he noted, is "being clobbered for a reason, and I believe it is fundamentally part of this secret space war." The 9-11 attacks were a shot across the bow that the status quo was over, he continued, adding that exotic technology was used to turn the Twin Towers into dust-- "some kind of massive disintegrator beam, based on Torsion physics."

Aspartame Update:

First hour guest, Dr. Betty Martini shared an update on aspartame dangers. She argued that some people convicted of methanol poisoning were innocent, and that the victims actually consumed excess aspartame products leading to methanol toxicity. She also reported on a study which linked diet drinks to heart attacks and strokes.

2012 & Ancient Sites:

Appearing during the second hour, pharmacist and amateur astronomer Lawrence Joyce began research to debunk 2012 and discovered astonishing connections that establish how the ancients came up with their calendar. He found an obelisk in Quito, Ecuador that dates back to 1500 BC that served as an observatory to mark the arrival of the winter solstice. The Mayans chose the end of their Long Count calendar on the winter solstice of Dec. 21, 2012, as at the obelisk the solstice occurs exactly at sunrise, he said. The ending of the Mayan calendar is analogous to the visit of the Three Wise Men at Bethlehem, as some significant change in history will take place, he added.

Hybrids & Aliens:

Could there be alien-human hybrids walking among us who have very different powers of mind and body? On Wednesday night, Whitley Strieber shared some of his hair-raising experiences that suggest that something like this could actually be true. In his new novel, Hybrids, he explores the promise and danger of this possibility. He referred to his latest book as another one of his "true fiction" efforts, which "contains elements that I think are factual but I don't have enough information to prove."

We're going to see a leap in technology in the next 5 years, with methods to compress memory, so that machine's capacities will be denser than the human brain, he reported. In his new book, he considers these advances, along with "alien technology" to create super soldiers that are smarter than we are-- programmable biological robots.

Real alien hybrids may have been created by the 'Visitors' using genetic methods similar to what Earth scientists currently use, he suggested. A number of people wrote to Strieber expressing their belief that they are hybrids. Interestingly, he noted that UFO hacker Gary McKinnon said he saw lists of officers who were on off-planet 'space fleets.' Perhaps people are being altered genetically to endure long flights, Whitley conjectured. He also recounted some of 'Visitor' experiences that took place at his former cabin in a secluded area in upstate New York.

Budget Analysis:

First hour guest, investigative reporter Greg Hunter reacted to Pres. Obama's speech on the budget, and noted that neither party is saying a word about "the 75 billion a month that the Fed is printing to finance 70% of the government." He also cited how the various wars the US is involved in could lead to inflation, or hyperinflation.

UFO Documents & Cases:

On Thursday's show, UFO historian Richard Dolan commented on the FBI's newly posted 1950 memo that recounts the discovery of flying saucers and aliens in New Mexico, as well as discussed various UFO cases, and the field of ufology. The Hottel memo, released through the FBI's new public online 'Vault,' was actually studied earlier by people such as Bruce Maccabee back in the 1970's when he obtained it through FOIA, Dolan noted. The description seems to relate more to the Aztec, NM 1948 UFO crash than the one that took place in Roswell, a year earlier, and the informant in the memo may have based his information on a Silas Newton lecture about the Aztec incident, given in 1950, said Dolan. More analysis of the Hottel memo is provided at AfterDisclosure.com.

Dolan pointed out that there have been other intriguing formerly classified documents that have surfaced such as a memo from December 1952 written by H. Marshall Chadwell of the CIA's Scientific Intelligence Dept. In it, he warned of UFOs "that are not attributable to natural phenomena" appearing near sensitive installations.

Dolan described an incident he recently heard about from a military witness to an event that occurred off the USS Saratoga in 1987 when it was stationed in the Bermuda Triangle. An aerial object approached the ship and jets were scrambled to intercept. One of the planes exploded, and after the UFO disappeared, a bearded man was seen on the ship walking through the bulkhead of the ship, like he was walking through a wall. Dolan also posited his theory that a "breakaway civilization" exists; a group in the classified/black budget world that's been able to employ clandestine and advanced technology in order to live off-world or underground.

Tax Alternatives:

In the first hour, tax change advocates Tom Cryer and Bill Spillane discussed alternatives to the current tax system in the US. Spillane spoke on behalf of the FairTax, a national retail sales tax that would replace the payroll tax and other taxes, along with a rebate so that the poor won't be unfairly taxed. Cryer argued that there is no statute in the US tax code making people liable to pay, and thus the IRS is illegally collecting income tax from millions. He believes that if taxing ceased, we'd see an end to unemployment and a huge increase in local, state, and federal revenues.

Spiritual Enlightenment:

In the middle two hours of Friday's show, journalist and author Hazel Courteney shared details from her life-changing spiritual awakening, as well as her unique insights into science, the Big Bang, consciousness, and God. According to Courteney, her journey to enlightenment began abruptly on April 8, 1998, when a powerful energy pulsed through her body while walking through a turnstile at the famous London department store Harrods. It felt like a heart attack, she recalled, noting that, in addition to the chest pain, a voice began shouting in her head. Courteney credits the experience with changing her eye color and triggering several extraordinary phenomena, including psychic abilities, healing power, ash manifestation, and even levitation.

Spiritual enlightenment usually occurs slowly, she continued, identifying what happened to her as a spontaneous kundalini awakening. Courteney described feeling as though she were plugged into a supercomputer for several months, and has come to understand certain truths about the nature of human existence. We exist within an incredible mind, or coherence, that some people would call God, Courteney explained. This ultimate something is beyond our comprehension, but at its core it is pure unconditional love and total 'isness', she said, adding that our goal seems to be to grow in consciousness and to help others towards enlightenment. Courteney also cited several researchers working in the field of consciousness studies, as well as touched on humanity's common source in the Big Bang. Within us are the same atoms that were once in Buddha and Jesus, she noted.

Tabloid Journalism:

Former National Enquirer staff writer, Paul Bannister, joined George Knapp on Sunday night to unveil the hidden, dirty secrets of tabloid journalism, and to discuss the many stories he worked on as the tabloid's top specialist in tales of the psychic. In its heyday, the Enquirer had millions of readers, 80 full time staff reporters and hundreds of freelancers-- now it's down to just a handful of employees, he noted. One of the tactics tabloids used was to create a salacious sounding headline, and then send staff writers out to find any evidence for the story. Material was fact checked, but freelancers would often create fake sources to get past the research and legal department, he revealed. Another misleading tactic employed by the tabloids is the citing of extreme claims about celebrities, which are typically made by unreliable sources.

Bannister recounted his investigation into the Baffling Chair of Death, in Yorkshire, England-- those who sat in it were said to die. He confessed that some of the interviews he provided for his story were with names he found on headstones in a Yorkshire graveyard. He detailed investigating ancient cave paintings in the Baja Peninsula that depicted what looked like UFOs, as well as his interactions with Uri Geller, who appeared to bend a room key using psychokinesis.

Bannister spoke about famed psychic Jeane Dixon, who was featured heavily in the Enquirer. While she was given credit for predicting JFK's assassination, he pointed out that what she had actually said was that she "saw a dark cloud over the presidency." In fact, none of her predictions actually panned out, he added. Bannister also shared stories about Enquirer boss, Gene Pope (said by some to be a CIA operative). It was he who came up with the innovation of selling tabloids at the checkout counters of grocery stores.

Virtual Reality:

Jim Blascovich and Jeremy Bailenson, two pioneering experts in the field of virtual reality, joined Ian Punnett on Saturday night to reveal when we all might be living in the Matrix. "Virtual reality, for us, is any reality that's not a person's grounded reality," Blascovich said. We go back and forth between virtual and grounded realities all of the time, without the use of technology, through our mind wanderings and dreams, he continued. "There's different types of virtual realities and there's even a lack of separation among them," Bailenson added, citing how the digital environs of the online role-playing game World of Warcraft reportedly seeps into the dream lives of hardcore players... cont.

Human Connections:

On Monday's show, author and researcher Lynne McTaggart argued that by working together in groups rather than as individuals, we can yield the greatest benefits. In the West, many are trained to believe in the survival of the fittest, but actually "we are wired to care, share, and be fair. And whenever we go against that, we get in trouble. We succeed when we connect, when we cooperate," she said. Humans are connected on a subatomic level, and as such are not separate from each other, she continued.

McTaggart discussed studies that show benefits from being on a team or in a community. For instance, on the Oxford rowing team, it was found that as a group they raised their pain threshold much higher than when they were rowing alone. Further, in the classic 1950s 'Robbers Cave' psychology experiment, it was demonstrated that when boys had a "superordinate" goal, they were able to work together as a team to create something they couldn't do individually. Interestingly, people who have stronger social ties with groups tend to be healthier. One study found that half of the people who get heart disease are lonely or disconnected, she detailed.

America is polarized right now and really could benefit by having people of different viewpoints come together for a meeting of the minds, she commented. McTaggart also reported on some of her work with intention and mind-over-matter experiments, citing success with changing the structure & purity of water in a Japanese experiment, and reducing violence in Sri Lanka through a peace intention.

Sleep & Brain Function:

First hour guest, Dennis Maness, who uses techniques involving Brain Wave Therapy, talked about sleep cycles and work performance. When people are tired, their brain function slows down. One way to counteract fatigue at work is to take B12 drops or spray or perform mental exercises; it also helps to get up from your desk and walk around or stretch, he noted, adding that the brain has optimal performance in 10-12 minute bursts.

Cold Fusion:

Filling in for George Noory, host George Knapp welcomed media ecologist James Martinez for a discussion on cold fusion in the first half of the show. Cold fusion is a type of purported low energy nuclear reaction that was first reported by electrochemists Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons in 1989. Although their claims have been widely rejected by mainstream science, Martinez maintained that cold fusion, while a mysterious process, does exist and is being suppressed by a controlling elite. One of the challenges facing cold fusion has been the replication of supposedly successful experiments.

According to Martinez, non-repeatability is no longer an issue, as Italian researchers Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi have managed to reproduce the cold fusion process on command. He revealed there will be a private unveiling of their discovery in Florida, followed by the release of a commercial product by the end of 2011. Martinez expects cold fusion, with its seemingly endless supply of energy produced from equipment that can fit on a desktop, to completely revolutionize the world. He also suggested interested people get involved and start demanding this technology.

Open Lines:

Open Lines followed for the remainder of the program. Callers continued to phone in to talk about cold fusion. Mike from Buffalo, New York, told George about a man named Frank Znidarsic who developed mathematical formulae to help explain why cold fusion takes place. Mike recommended technically-inclined listeners check out Znidarsic's paper, The Control of the Natural Forces. John in Newport, Rhode Island proposed that the principles behind cold fusion technology could be adapted in order to transmute elements, making the alchemist's dream of turning lead into gold a reality.

Alex in Princeton, Minnesota, shared an interesting ghost story related to him by a friend of the person who experienced it. Alex said the young man, who had moved into brand new house with this parents, awakened one night to find the ghost of a little boy staring at him. As he watched, the phantom boy stood, morphed into a grown man, then walked into his closet, Alex explained. The startled young man checked the time on his clock and even pinched himself to verify that he was awake during the paranormal confrontation, he added.

Weekend Edition April 25, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Decoding Gravity:

On Sunday night's program, George Knapp was joined by author Maurice Cotterell for a discussion on his research into gravity and how it relates to astrology, reincarnation, and the nature of God. He observed that since countless brilliant scientists have failed in their attempts to solve the mystery of how gravity works, then the solution "has nothing to do with intelligence or brains, because if it had, we'd have figured it out by now." Taking a different approach to solving the problem, Cotterell said that he decided to circumvent the specific question of how gravity works and, instead, focused on what he called the "twelve great mysteries of physics," which ultimately led him to the solution. "I started to make one discovery after another," he recalled, "and that allowed me to arrive at the position I am in today, where I have, quite frankly, no other questions left to ask."

"What I've discovered is that every atom radiates gravity waves," he claimed. Unlike radio and magnetic waves, which have vertical and horizontal paths, respectively, Cotterell proposed that these gravity waves are constructed more like an Archimedes' screw. It is this "corkscrew style energy," he said, which forms the basis for gravitational pull. Cotterell described the basic hydrogen atom as the "prime mover," as it dispels these gravity waves and causes other larger elements to adopt the same corkscrew spin and, thus, generate their own gravitational fields. "Once I figured this out," Cotterell said, "then it becomes quite clear that if you want to generate unlimited quantities of gravitational energy, all you have to do is put one of every element in the universe in a container and line them up in a straight line."

Cotterell also discussed the scientific communities resistance to his revolutionary ideas. He revealed that an attempt to publish his findings in a physics journal was rebuffed because his work was "completely new," contained no mathematics, and was unlike anything they had been involved with before. As such, Cotterell lamented that the physics community is searching for answers to the mystery of gravity based on a dogmatic attachment to false presumptions and incorrect theories established long ago. Along those lines, he claimed that the elementary particles, like gluons, being sought by the theoretical physics community do not even exist. To that end, he called the CERN project "an absolute scam" aimed at merely keeping misinformed physicists employed and declared that "there is no such thing as space-time. Relativity is nonsense. Quantum physics is nonsense."

Dangerous Kindness:

On Saturday night's show, Ian Punnett was joined by Prof. Barbara Oakley, who talked about how some people may be too kind for their own good - eventually causing great pain and tragedy for themselves and their loved ones. In the first hour, forensic psychology expert Dr. Katherine Ramsland commented on the killings in Long Island, where police have found as many as 10 sets of human remains... cont.

Energy Dynamics:

In the first half of Monday's show, psychiatrist and energy medicine practitioner Eric Leskowitz discussed his study of the energy dynamics of positive experience using fans of the Boston Red Sox as subjects. After the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004, he began to research whether fans could have an outcome on the game (related article). Cheering for your team, rather than booing the opposition, yields a more positive result, he reported. And players can move into a peak performance zone if they get into a state of alignment, he added.

Leskowitz described a lab demonstration testing heart variability that showed when a subject is given positive mental regard by others, their heart rate moves into a state of coherence. From this, he surmised that if "35,000 people at Fenway Park [were] doing this state of appreciation moment...it would entrain the players so that they could perform in the zone." We can influence other people through the quality of our magnetic field, he explained. Random number testing (like the Princeton EGGs used by the Global Consciousness Project) was done at Fenway, and spikes occurred during shared fan activities such as "The Wave" and a group singalong, even though there was no microphone or sound involved in the testing, he reported.

Physics & Change:

In the latter half, author Mike Bara argued that we're headed for a time of great transition, which is being triggered by physics in our solar system and beyond. He recounted radio engineer John Nelson's discovery that the position of planets could affect the magnetic output of the sun and electromagnetic signals like brainwaves. Like in astrology, certain planetary configurations have positive or negative effects on people, Bara suggested. With the coming shift in 2012, there'll be polarization and conflict, and we'll have to rethink what our government and monetary structures will be like, he commented, noting that the last time the astrology lined up like this was during the American Revolution.

According to the Mayans, "we are going to be hit with a pulse of energy like we have not been hit with in 26,000 years," Bara said. We have to know what to do with that energy to utilize it for the good, he continued. There are certain times and dates when people's powers to send out signals or prayers for the greater good are enhanced, he added.

Shamanism & Spiritual Growth:

On Tuesday's show, anthropologist and author Hank Wesselman discussed his eight years of visitations, begun in 1996, with the late Hawaiian shaman and kahuna Hale Makua, who was like the Dalai Lama to the Polynesian world. As he chanted the names of his ancestors, "I could see him very subtly transforming...as ancestor after ancestor used the bridge that he was creating to come through his body, and through his mind, into our world," he said of Makua.

Makua gave Wesselman a gift-- a wooden bowl he called the "bowl of light," which represented the Aumakua (our higher self). Every time we step into the negative polarity some of this light gets diminished, Makua said, adding that the problem with the world today is that it's run primarily by "men whose bowls of light are filled by stones." According to Makua, people play out a primary role or archetype in each lifetime: server, artist, warrior, scholar, explorer/sage, priest/healer, or chief.

Makua told Wesselman of an Ancestral Grand Plan, which stressed connection rather separation and included a political foundation based on compassion, and the removal of national and religious barriers, as well as the idea that humans are in the process of becoming gods. Wesselman also reviewed his visions of experiencing life as one of his descendant selves in a tropical forest near the flooded valley of central California. He believes this possibly represents our future after global warming and the rise of sea level have taken hold.

Sony Security Breach:

First hour guest, Internet privacy advocate Lauren Weinstein reported on a security breach into Sony's PlayStation Network, in which members' private information was compromised. "How Sony managed this big of a fail is beyond the ken of most people looking at this right now," he commented. He also talked about how technology has advanced in the area of cell phone tracking and bugging, though most people probably aren't going to be targets of this type of intrusion.

Blast from the Past:

We're happy to announce a new weekly feature to CoastZone! Every Wednesday, we'll be presenting two free audio clips that revisit this week in Coast to Coast AM history. Psychology of High School:

On Wednesday's show, investigative journalist Alexandra Robbins talked about the world of high school and how those who thrive in it are not necessarily the ones who end up successful in life. Being an outsider in high school has been viewed negatively especially since the Columbine shootings, but just because students don't conform or aren't popular doesn't make them bad people, she noted. In her new book, The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth, she followed the lives of seven real students whom she broke down into different categories. In the case of the 'Popular Girl,' ironically she was not that well liked. Further, Robbins reported that the "popular" kids tended to be more conformist, did less well in school, and were more likely to be involved in incidents of aggression.

Other students she profiled included the 'Weird Girl,' the 'Gamer,' and the 'Nerd.' If schools were to celebrate the sciences the same way they do athletics, a lot more students might go into the sciences, and nerds wouldn't be shunned, Robbins commented. Students are foisted with a lot of labels now like "emo" and "indie" which refer to what you are, rather than the older labels (jock, greaser etc.) that referred to what you do, she observed.

Robbins defined what she called Quirk Theory: "Many of the differences that cause a student to be excluded in school are the same qualities or real world skills that others are going to admire...in adulthood and outside the school environment." She also reviewed her earlier investigation into Skull and Bones, the secret society based at Yale. An initiation ceremony for new members involves other members dressing as the Devil, a skeleton, and the Pope, being given a blind tour of 'The Tomb' (club headquarters), and drinking blood from a skull, she revealed.

Numbers in the News:

First hour guest, numerologist Glynis McCants talked about the numbers in current events, such as for Kate Middleton & Prince William. The Royal couple "are extremely compatible. They share the number 3, which is all about humor and laughter," she said, adding that their marriage date of the 29th is a "1" day, which bodes well for them as a couple.

UFO Crash & Cosmic Explosion:

On Thursday's show, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe presented a 3-part report on a UFO crash near Aztec, New Mexico in 1948. The crash recently received attention when it was apparently referred in the 'Hottel memo,' one of the FBI's released documents on their new 'Vault' website. She interviewed researcher Scott Ramsey, who along with Suzanne Ramsey and UFO investigator Frank Warren have written a book, The Aztec Incident: A Recovery in Hart Canyon, which will come out later this year.

Ramsey discussed the Hottel memo's link to a crashed disc in Hart Canyon, burned alien bodies, and earlier UFO books by Frank Scully, and William Steinman which reported on the 1948 incident near Aztec. According to witnesses, the metallic craft, which was about 100 ft. in diameter had a staircase that came out, and portholes from which they viewed about 14-16 charred bodies of small beings that weighed around 40 lbs. each, and had 4-fingered hands, Ramsey recounted. Amid much military secrecy, the craft was reportedly taken to Los Alamos, he noted. More here.

In her last report, Linda discussed the discovery of a strange cosmic explosion in March 2011 that has baffled astronomers. Longer than a typical gamma-ray burst, there has been conjecture that it could represent a black hole eating up a star. She spoke with astronomer Andrew Fruchter, who compared the explosion to a "blazar" (blazing quasi-stellar object).

Extreme Weather:

In the first hour, two guests talked about the recent extreme weather, including the massive tornadoes in Alabama and the South. First, author Whitley Strieber noted that the US had a very cold winter but the cold air didn't reach very far south, so the Gulf and Caribbean waters have stayed warm and because of this "we could have a very explosive storm season...in April and May." Researcher Mitch Battros talked about the influence of space weather, and in particular a recent coronal mass ejection on the sun which he believes could play a part in the weather disruptions.

Today in Strangeness:

Controversial speaker and author David Icke was born on this day in 1952. A year later on this date, the first experimental 3D-TV broadcast took place in the US with a showing of an episode of Space Patrol.

Spirits & the Afterlife:

In the first half, George Noory was joined by Hollister Rand, a clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient medium who shared what spirits -- especially those of children -- have revealed to her about the afterlife. Rand said she has been shown how much heaven is beyond anything physical beings with their finite minds can imagine. Those on the other side describe a limitless afterlife filled with bright colors, golden buildings that soar into the sky, and gardens that never need tending, Rand explained. One child in spirit disclosed that heaven is more of a 'state of mind' than an actual place, she added.

"The good news is you don't need a GPS to find your way to heaven," Rand continued, pointing out that friends and loved ones come to guide the newly departed. Numerous spirits have also reported flying with angels after they passed, she said. Those who do not accept death or refuse to move forward enter a kind of limbo, she remarked, noting that there is still an opportunity for change and growth for them, even on the other side. Rand talked about how she and other mediums sometimes intercede on behalf of such spirits, helping them to cross over.

In almost all cases, the spirits that have come to Rand do not express any regrets for having passed on to eternity. They got what they needed from their incarnations, no matter how short the duration, she said. According to Rand, most come with love and view themselves as alive and capable of reconnecting in relationships (albeit in a different way) with the people they've left behind. Spirits also remain involved in guiding and inspiring those on the earth plane, she added. Rand expressed that knowing such things has allowed her to live a life without fear.

Open Lines:

The latter half of the program featured Open Lines. A few callers phoned in to talk about Larry Waters, the man who in 1982 attached 45 helium-filled weather balloons to an ordinary lawn chair and rose to an altitude of more than 15,000 feet. Relating to the Water's account, Geena in Loveland, Colorado, told George about something strange her father saw in the sky every night on his way home from work. According to Geena, her dad reported seeing a shiny dark metallic craft hovering in the same spot over the mountains for a period of six months. Each time he would pull over to get a better look at it, the object would disappear, she said.

James, a production assistant from Pasadena, California, reported using a ghost tracker iPhone app in an abandoned town where he was shooting. The app recorded a mysterious message, "windows... windows... roll up... leave," before a glass shattered on one of the buildings, he revealed. Jim in Glen Rose, Texas, said he was recently alerted of inclement weather by his radio and stepped outside to find a tornado barreling down the street toward his house. Jim said the cyclone was spinning roughly 100 feet off the ground, approached his yard, popped back up, and touched down several miles away, sparing his home and family. Jim called his extreme weather encounter a religious experience.

Today in Strangeness:

Walpurgisnacht, a holiday of pagan origins is celebrated in many parts of Europe. In Germany, witches hold special ceremonies during the night celebrating the arrival of Spring. On this day in 1006 AD, a new star, possibly the brightest supernova in recorded human history, appeared in the sky.

Video Fix:

OurAmazingPlanet via MSNBC has posted an incredible video of a rare sideways tornado as it spun off a massive twister cutting a path of destruction through downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Thursday. Check it out here.

Weekend Edition May 2, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Death of bin Laden:

In the first half of Sunday's show, George Noory was joined by intelligence expert Douglas Hagmann who reacted to the news of the US' successful mission in killing Osama bin Laden, which was announced by Pres. Obama late on Sunday night. Since 2002, there's been no substantial proof that bin Laden was still alive, yet there had been some intel he might be living in Afghanistan or Pakistan. To that end, "it would make sense...that he would be found where he was-- a heavily guarded compound," he noted, adding that he thought some type of back-deal arrangement was made between the US and Pakistan in regard to the mission.

People are going to want to see the body, and there should be independent forensic testing of the body to ensure that it is bin Laden, and his death occurred as reported, Hagmann suggested. (Later in the morning, the surprising news broke that bin Laden's body had already been "buried at sea" in "accordance with Muslim tradition.")

Hagmann also pointed out the curious timing of an article that ran in The Telegraph on April 25th, warning that if bin Laden was captured, al-Qaeda would unleash a "nuclear hellstorm," and that they had already hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe.

Conversations with a Medium:

Appearing during the third hour, spirit medium Maureen Hancock discussed her psychic impressions and communications with the dead. Interestingly, she sometimes incorporates humor in her readings, and is known as the "comedian medium." She described working with law enforcement on missing person cases, and said that while teamed up with a detective, they've brought home five living children and adults in the last six months. Her latest adventures include working with Hollywood producers on developing a TV show (she just finished shooting the pilot, "Ghost Town" for the Style Channel).

Jordan Codices:

Joining Ian Punnett on Saturday night, Egyptologist and author David Elkington talked about the Jordan Codices -- ancient metal religious texts that could change the way we view Christianity and the Bible. The books are made entirely of lead and written in a form of ancient Hebrew (Hasmonean) that dates back to the 1st century BC, he explained. Within the metallic pages are numerous Messianic symbols, Temple representations, and even portraits of a person resembling Jesus, Elkington said. "It confirms the underlying story in the gospels, and confirms for the first time that Christ not only existed, but he was truly a king of Israel," he declared... cont.

Today in Strangeness:

Although accounts of a large aquatic creature living in Scotland's Loch Ness date back 1,500 years, the first modern sighting of the Loch Ness Monster was reported in the Inverness Courier on May 2, 1933.

Tonight's Show, Monday, May 2nd:

Dr. Rollin McCraty will discuss the interaction between the Earth's geomagnetic fields and the human heart and brain, and how disturbances in these fields deeply impact our health and well-being, and conversely how collective emotions alter Earth energies.

May 3, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Gun Ownership:

In the first half of Monday's show, research scientist John Lott talked about various issues related to gun ownership. When you have a ban on guns, it's the law-abiding citizens who turn in their guns, not the criminals, and "rather than reducing crime it makes it easier for criminals to go and commit crimes because they don't have to worry about...citizens able to defend themselves," he argued.

The big benefit of having a gun is to keep the criminal away, he continued, especially for those who are weaker physically, whom criminals tend to prey on. He also noted that in the UK (where there is heavy gun control) there are significantly more burglaries when residents are at home, as opposed to the US, where criminals case out a place to make sure no one is there, as they don't want to risk getting shot at. Lott was critical of alternative weapons such as mace or a taser, citing their unreliability.

Geomagnetic Fields:

In the latter half, Dr. Rollin McCraty discussed the interaction between the Earth's geomagnetic fields and the human heart and brain, and how disturbances in these fields deeply impact our health and well-being, and conversely how collective emotions alter Earth energies. 1,600 members of the Global Coherence Initiative participated in a long-running experiment, and a correlation was found between physical and psychological states and geomagnetic and solar factors, he reported. "When the geomagnetic field is disturbed...we feel more anxious, more fatigued, and more mentally confused," he detailed.

McCraty described geomagnetic fields as flux lines that vibrate in different frequencies like guitar strings, based on their interactions with solar winds. These frequencies can overlap with that of the human heart when it's in a coherent mode, he said, "so in other words, the Earth is singing away at the same frequency that our heart and cardiovascular system operate on." He spoke of current projects which include Earth Monitoring Stations-- sensors designed to (metaphorically) measure "the heart rhythms and brainwaves of planet Earth," and Global Care Rooms-- an online environment/experiment to reduce suffering in specific regions.

C2C Insta-Poll:
