Metaphysics, Contacts, & Cetaceans:

On Monday's show, author, contactee, and international speaker Patricia Cori shared her metaphysical interpretations about the universe, cetaceans such as dolphins and whales, Atlantis, and humanity's path. "My perception is the life that we're in now, this physical reality, is like a tube, and we come in as light beings, like full spirits...we go through this tube of 3D illusion...and then we pass back out [upon death] and return to light...source," she explained, adding that as spirit becomes more evolved, it becomes less dense.

Humans are multidimensional beings, she said, citing as an example the dream state, in which we experience another plane of reality. In addition to ongoing ET disclosure, she interestingly suggested that cetaceans "are going to be recognized as conscious people," and have higher levels of consciousness and compassion than humans, and communicate with ETs who are in underwater craft.

Cool

This sort of information makes my heart flutter with joy! I am so glad i am not the only one who seriously thinks this way.

The Spirit World:

On Tuesday's show, Professor at the University of Arizona, Dr. Gary Schwartz, discussed his latest research on quantifying the spirit world including contacting the dead in the laboratory, and expanding on the work of Harry Houdini. An advocate for science or evidence-based spirituality, he suggested that Spirit could be thought of like air or water, something that is all around us. Science is now creating technology to detect the tiniest amounts of energy-- such as single photons, and these new instruments have the promise to detect spirits on the Other Side, he declared.

He used such a device (a silicon photomultiplier) in an experiment making contact with the late Harry Houdini, and found that the number of photon detections measured much higher when he made a direct contact request from Houdini. Interestingly, he noted that one of his contacts, the deceased medium Suzy Smith, was the first to bring Houdini to one of his experiments, and that other spirits known as "drop-ins" started spontaneously showing up.

Schwartz recounted how a living medium received an accurate warning from Smith that he was about to be "ambushed" on a TV talk show, which helped him to prepare. He also talked about angels, and spirit guides, who can serve as messengers, and the role of Spirit in physical and emotional healing. He has set up a new site, Sacred Promise Universe, which will feature his free video lectures on various aspects of Spirit.

Global Security:

First hour guest, security analyst Ryan Mauro talked about international security issues and geopolitics. He's optimistic that Iran is becoming less of a threat because its regime is weakening. His biggest concern is the ongoing struggle between moderates and extremists in the Muslim world, as well as 'homegrown Jihadist' organizations in America.

Health Special:

On Wednesday night, three separate guests discussed various health & medical issues. Dr. Leonard Coldwell ( email) proclaimed that any type of cancer can be cured within 2 to 16 weeks. Cancer, he said, won't grow in a body that is slightly alkaline, and products like Universal Greens can make the body less acidic. A person can regrow healthy cells if they are detoxed, which is achievable by drinking a gallon of water a day, with half-a-teaspoon of sea salt in it, in addition to juicing, he outlined. Coldwell also suggested that people reduce electromagnetic disturbances from devices like the computer and cell phone by wearing a product such as the frequency protector from Intact Health.

Ann Louise Gittleman, a weight loss/detox expert, appeared in the third hour, with tips on how to eliminate toxins from one's system. Interestingly, weight gain may be associated with toxins or chemicals in the environment, rather than consuming too many calories or lack of exercise, she explained. Her fat flush program targets the liver, and helps to increase metabolism and remove toxins. Her "signature beverage, Cranwater" (diluted cranberry juice) starts to emulsify fats in the lymphatic system, and opens up the liver's detox pathways, she detailed. Gittleman also suggested cutting out prevalent food sensitivities, which can come from wheat, dairy, yeast, and sugar, as well as soy and corn.

In the last hour, Jon Gabriel shared the mind-body connection he discovered that helped him to lose over 220 pounds. His major finding was that the body has a "fat switch" which is activated when a person is under stress. By incorporating stress management techniques such as meditation into his life, he was able to lose excess weight without resorting to specific diets. He recommended eating foods high in Omega 3 fatty acids such as cold water fish, and flax & chia seeds, as well as adding live foods (like lettuce), and proteins into meals.

Extreme Weather:

First hour guest, researcher Robert Felix talked about the increasing extreme weather, and possible signs of an ice age ahead. Extremes in climate, both hot and cold, are a hallmark of an ice age, as well as increased volcanic activity which we're starting to see, he stated. He also cited a predictive formula known as the Milankovitch Cycles, which he believes shows we're due for an ice age.

2011 in Numerology & Prophecy:

In the first half of Thursday's show, numerologist Glynis McCants gave her analysis on how, 2011, the year of "four," will manifest and what we can do to make the best of it. "Four represents truth; it's all about honesty. I actually call it 'in your face' truth so that means anyone who is up to no good," whether in politics, or entertainment will get busted. For example, Julian Assange of WikiLeaks will get his comeuppance this year, she said. Pres. Obama is in a cycle of 7 this year, where people either "thank God, or think they're God," and we saw a new humility in him in his recent speech, she said.

North Korea and South Korea could be in a conflict, as their leaders are in uncompromising cycles this year, she commented. Mother Nature also looks to be uncompromising this year, so we'll see a continuation of the extreme weather, McCants added. She also spoke about the match of Prince William and Kate Middleton, noting their numbers appear to be compatible. The date 11-11-11 is significant, as a kind of doorway. On this day in November, she suggested sitting down with a white candle and writing down what you're trying to achieve-- "which doors do you want to close and which ones do you want to go through?"

-------------------

In the latter half, authority on prophecy and the occult, John Hogue, shared his predictions for 2011 & 2012. Among his insights:

Regarding terrorism, we should be concerned more about native and "lone wolf" violence occurring in the US.
Although Obama "came into his destiny too soon," he'll be reelected for a second term in 2012. He may face a Romney/Huckabee ticket, but Jeb Bush actually has the best chance to defeat him. The Tea Party might break away from the Republicans to form their own party.
The extreme rhetoric of the right and left, will fade somewhat by March.
Storms will pick up in 2011. The Queensland and Brazil floods are not a fluke. The recent die-offs indicate the climate is in trouble.
By 2012, gas will be priced at $6 to $7 a gallon.
European banks are in a bad state, but may be bailed out by China.
Two failed states could cause concern in 2011-- North Korea and Pakistan.

Weekend Edition January 17, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Hollywood & UFOs:

Joining George Knapp on Sunday night, writer/producer Bryce Zabel discussed why topics like UFOs and ETs are such a focus of TV and movie projects. In particular, he talked about his creation of the TV series Dark Skies (now out on DVD) which aired in 1996 on NBC. The show was notable for the way it interwove real-life characters from the UFO world into the series, such as Jesse Marcel, and Betty & Barney Hill, as well as events like Project Blue Book. Art Bell even had a cameo role as William S. Paley, the head of CBS, at a meeting of the secretive MJ-12 group ( video clip).

While shooting the series, Zabel described being visited by a man who said he was sent there to separate fact from fiction in the UFO question. This contact, later brought in an alleged ex-military man from the "Aquarium," who said he wanted to bring the truth out, and insisted that if the series was given his secret information, it must be portrayed exactly as told, which Zabel could not agree to. The military man put a glass vial on the table that contained a gold-like substance, and said that's why the ETs are here, and that Dark Skies should reveal this, Zabel recounted.

Are alien and UFO-themed TV shows and films part of a gradual controlled release of secret information? Zabel has concluded that while sci-fi films in the 1950s, like Day the Earth Stood Still and It Came From Outer Space, might have have military manipulation and collaboration, projects beyond that time frame were not part of a conditioning or acclimation process. Rather, the characters of aliens provide easy conflict, and are safe for Hollywood to portray as bad guys. "It's a vast overreach," to think these projects are part of a disclosure effort, he commented, adding that Spielberg has never admitted to being given any insider information.

AboveTopSecret Update:

First hour guest, Mark Allin of the forum AboveTopSecret.com commented on the Arizona shooter suspect, Jared Loughner, posting on their forum in advance of the shooting. His postings on their site were largely nonsensical, Allin reported, adding that media coverage surrounding this matter treated the subject fairly.

Military-Industrial Complex & Prices We Pay:

In the first half of Saturday's show with Ian Punnett, investigative reporter Russ Baker spoke about the odd string of "coincidental" historical anniversaries coming up this week that tie in with President Eisenhower's warning about the military-industrial complex. During the last two hours, Eduardo Porter, from the NY Times editorial board, revealed the true story behind the prices we pay, and what those prices are actually telling us. Prices are involved in everything we do and drive our decisions, Porter said, pointing out the importance of understanding prices, not just in monetary terms, but as they relate to opportunity as well... cont.

Today in Strangeness:

On this date in 1961, in his farewell speech to the American public, President Eisenhower sounded an ominous note, warning of a vast 'military-industrial complex.' Dying on this day were the famous Siamese twins, Chang & Eng (1874), and convicted killer, Gary Gilmore, shot by a firing squad (1977).

Tonight's Show, Monday, January 17th:

Author, engineer and staff writer for Forbes Magazine, Christopher Steiner will discuss how the rising price of gasoline is a good thing, as well as how technology is helping brick and mortar businesses, which have been hurt by the decline in traditional media. Gas Prices, Society, & Technology:

On Monday's show, author, engineer and staff writer for Forbes Magazine, Christopher Steiner discussed how the rising price of gasoline could be a good thing for American society, which could be restructured in positive ways. In our current mode, many people drive from their homes to work, and hardly walk anywhere at all. But a study showed that a rise of $1 in gas prices led to a dip of 10% in the nation's obesity rate, he reported, adding that with fewer obese people, less money will have to be spent on health care. With $4 or $5 a gallon gas prices, "we're starting to talk about some pretty big dents in the health care issue," he commented.

Higher gas prices would lead to grocery stores stocking items grown locally or nearby rather than importing apples from places like New Zealand, which is currently economical because of low gas prices, he detailed. The rise of gas costs would also mean people will want to live in urban centers where they can shop locally, rather than having to drive 15 minutes to buy a carton of milk, and "Main Street" will be relevant again, he suggested. And with airfare becoming prohibitively expensive, trains will become a popular mode of national transport, he said.

Various gasoline alternatives such as electric cars and hydrogen are not yet cost effective options for many consumers, Steiner pointed out. He also talked about how technology has bolstered traditional stores and businesses, who have been been offering "deal of the day" coupons to consumers via rising online companies like Groupon.

Mind Techniques:

In the first hour, author William Gladstone talked about techniques for developing abundance and happiness in one's life. Based on the Master Key System first published by Charles Haanel in 1912, the first step is you have to learn to focus joyfully within, and stop all the noise around you, he explained. By doing this, one can then align themselves with the "universal mind" or source, he continued.

Quantum Thinking:

On Tuesday's show, Professor emeritus in the physics department of the University of Oregon, Dr. Amit Goswami discussed a plan of action that involves applying "quantum thinking" to a variety of societal issues. In the new way of looking at science, we say that consciousness is the ground of all being, rather than matter, he noted, adding that "you've got to wake up to quantum physics because it is connected with your everyday aspirations, everyday happiness."

Goswami has put forward the idea of "quantum activism," a kind of manifesto for changing oneself and the world, based on the power of consciousness. He listed three components to personal transformation-- right thinking (getting away from a materialist world view, and recognizing the primacy of consciousness), right living (learning to relax within activities, and focus on being open to possibilities), and right livelihood (finding an occupation that has meaning built into it, and allows for spare time).

Discontinuity, change, and even catastrophe are how we discover new meaning, which can lead to creative evolution and quantum leaps, he suggested. Negativity, which is sometime bred into our way of thinking, takes us away from wholeness, he observed. Interestingly, Goswami called the CERN/Hadron Collider project (to discover the so-called God Particle) an expensive "boondoggle." No one doubts that this particle exists, and its finding has no relevance in the way we should live, he commented.

Cloning a Woolly Mammoth:

First hour guest, author Marshall Klarfeld commented on the plan to clone a woolly mammoth from intact DNA of the extinct creature. The initial experiment would involve an elephant acting as a surrogate mother, providing an egg, so the clone would only be half-mammoth, he pointed out.

Pic Fix:

Edgar Allan Poe, the masterful writer of the mysterious and macabre was born on this day in 1809. In 1977, it snowed for the first time in recorded history in Miami Beach.

Economic Outlook:

During the first half of Thursday's show, stock market analyst Joe Meyer, who predicted our current economic woe on C2C in 2004, shared his investment tips and strategies. The so-called economic recovery is an illusion, and the underlying elements of the financial structure are continuing to deteriorate, with more mortgage foreclosures coming in 2011-12, he said. We'll continue to see declining prices in housing, and the commercial real estate sector will also slide downward, with retail malls failing in the 2011-12 period, he predicted.

The bull market for precious metals is just getting started, and though there'll be some corrections, it will continue rising for the next decade, he declared. He recommended investing in gold and silver coins, as well as bullion, and quality mining stocks. Meyer also advised making investments with utility companies, and the energy market (diversifying with 1/3 international oil companies, 1/3 oil service stocks, and 1/3 in the natural gas sector).

Angelic Communications:

During the third hour, Tom Lumbrazo talked about his interactions with angels and spirit guides, which began after an angelic warning saved his life during a car accident. Having taken up painting after this incident, he noted that "art and music are the keys to communication with the angels." He also discussed his ability to discern messages and figures in cloud formations, which he likened to crop circles.

Parapsychology:

On Sunday night's show, George Knapp was joined by parapsychologist Dr. Barry Taff, who shared details on his investigations into cases of high strangeness as well as the difficulties in applying science to the paranormal. "I think we're seeing the tip of a very large iceberg and the biggest thing we've found is that there is this other force of nature at work," Taff observed. As such, he mused, that ultimately paranormal research is limited because it amounts to "measuring the effect of an unknown cause." Cases discussed by Taff ranged from the humorous, such as a deceased Star Trek fan who kept turning on the TV when his favorite program aired, to the terrifying, notably the haunting event which inspired the film The Entity.

He recalled one investigation which he said was "by far, the most disturbing thing that's ever happened to me." Taff explained that he was asked to investigate an abandoned house where witnesses had reported seeing ghosts of the previous owners carrying on everyday activities as if they were still alive. During the investigation, a large, older man, who was "not part of our group," appeared in the room. This entity attacked Taff and tried to strangle him until the other investigators pulled the old man off of him. At that point, the entity merely faded away and in his place was his grandson, who had brought the group to the house and now had bruises on his body where the investigators had hit the apparition. Eerily, Taff said, the male members of his group saw the ghost of the old man attack him, but the female members saw the attacker as the grandson.

On trying to unlock the source behind hauntings, Taff put forward a more human origin for most incidents. He surmised that "after thousands and thousands of cases, I'd say that 95 to 98% are suggestive of a psychokinetic manifestation." That said, he conceded that there are a few cases which "strongly suggest" the possibility of discarnate intelligence. Unfortunately, Taff mused, "in order to prove that, you've got to get rid of the psychokinesis hypothesis," which is "almost impossible to rule out." Behind these psychokinetic events, he opined, seem to be "forces working in concert" that include geophysical, neurophysiological, and emotional influences. "You look back at all the cases, you see the same data, over and over," he said of hauntings, "these things are not an influence, it's a confluence."

False Reality, Schizophrenia & Emotional Vampirism:

In the first half of Saturday's program, Ian Punnett spoke with Australian author Will Elliott, who believes he was wrongly (perhaps even purposely) diagnosed with schizophrenia after becoming aware of the false Matrix-like reality around him. Metaphysics & Prophecy:

On Monday's show, licensed counselor trained in past life regression, Gary J. McDonald presented his ideas on spiritual matters in which he has blended new age, religion, and science concepts together, as well as prophecies from the likes of Cayce, Nostradamus, and the Hopi Indians. He believes we are in the midst of 'End Times,' and as the Earth/solar system aligns with a galactic black hole, we could experience a shift of the Earth's axis, leading to devastating tsunamis and quakes. Hopi Elders have predicted that the United States will be destroyed, he added.

McDonald described undergoing a "spiritual download," in which he briefly experienced enlightenment and the "universal matrix." From this knowledge he's concluded there are just 144,000 souls on Earth, and that each living person shares parallel lives via an oversoul with around 45,000 other individuals. He views humankind as fallen angels, and said there are seven heavens, and 12 dimensions, with each dimension a different step in consciousness.

The Mayan calendar end date actually falls on Saturday, 12-22-2012 rather than Friday, 12-21-12, and this will make it worse because it means we are "transitioning on the Sabbath," McDonald suggested. Though he conceded that major calamities may not happen in 2012, he foresees that within the next few years 2/3 of the Earth's population will die, but some of this may be averted, including a third World War, if we shift our consciousness.

Crop Circle Update:

First hour guest, researcher Suzanne Taylor shared updates about crop circles. The recently discovered formation in Indonesia contained stunning geometry, and there were reports of a helicopter-like sound in the area during the night it formed, she detailed. During the formation of crop circles in general, there is a sense of air turbulence, animals act disturbed, unusual lights are seen, and the circle patterns are typically created in just six or seven seconds, she reported.

Archeological Mysteries:

On Tuesday's show, explorer, archaeologist, and expert in ancient mysteries, Jonathan Gray, discussed how new findings which don't match current academic beliefs are being suppressed, as well as the discovery of human remains in geological strata, including the very earliest Cambrian layer. Citing the work of scientist George Dodwell, he said the Earth underwent a massive cataclysmic event in 2345 BC. The planet was tipped on its axis and was left wobbling (which continues to this day). Gray contends that all civilizations essentially began after this date.

He said that the Globalist agenda has covered up a very big secret-- namely, that Earth's granite rocks didn't slowly cool from liquid to solid over millions of years. Based on data that shows polonium bubbles froze into granite rock, he argued that the planet solidified in a matter of minutes, thus correlating with the description of creation offered in the book of Genesis. If the planet solidified so quickly, there had to have been some type of outside intervention, he observed.

Thus, the items found in the Cambrian layers, including gold chains, iron pots, thimbles, and remains of modern humans, may be less than five or six thousand years old, he surmised. Gray also shared other intriguing notions:

The Egyptian pyramids (as well as the structure at Baalbek) were built through a anti-gravity technology using sound waves to lift heavy objects.
Underground tunnels that go for hundreds of miles appear to be cut with a laser beam.
The Chinese sent manned missions to the Moon, and constructed a "Palace of Cold" there, some 3,200 years ago.
Ancient cave paintings depict people wearing modern clothes.

State of the Union Analysis:

First hour guests, reporter Greg Hunter and analyst John M. Curtis reacted to Pres. Obama's State of the Union speech. Curtis commented that he thought the speech was impressive but more political than a typical State of the Union, with a main message of attempting to move toward bi-partisanship. Hunter was more critical of the speech, saying it lacked substance. Obama brushed over the deficit and didn't address the problem of cities and states going bankrupt, he noted.

Energy & Space Developments:

On Wednesday's show, aerospace and defense systems developer Sir Charles Shults discussed the latest developments in new energy sources, space exploration, and medical technology. It's an unfortunate fact "that most of the seminal and really cutting edge research is being done in other countries right now," rather than the US, he noted. Much of this is due to America's weakened economy, as well as litigation and laws surrounding what and how research can be conducted, such as with the stem cell controversy, he continued.

One interesting development that other countries have produced, said Shults, are modified inkjet printers that can actually culture cells (using a person's own Mesenchymal stem cells) and then "print organs layer by layer, which can then be grown or transplanted in people." Regarding energy sources, "oil may became superfluous sooner than we think because of orbital solar methods, and compact nuclear reactors," he detailed.

While NASA may be floundering with its canceled moon missions, Shults cited the growth of private enterprise, with companies like Space Adventures, which is selling tickets for a flight around the moon, scheduled for 2015, and Bigelow Enterprises, in negotiations to supply NASA with a module to expand the International Space Station. NASA's next Mars rover, Curiosity, will have advanced detection and photographic capabilities, and James Cameron is providing a full color stereo camera for it, he reported. Shults also reviewed his research into Martian anomalies that he believes are fossils of long dead organisms.

Rendlesham, Animal Die-Offs, & Extreme Weather:

On Thursday's show, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe shared four updates. In her first report, she described returning to Rendlesham Forest with former USAF Airman John Burroughs and Sgt. James Penniston, on the 30th anniversary of their 1980 encounter with lights and a craft of unknown origin. The two believed they located the area in Rendlesham Forest where Penniston touched symbols on a black, glassy, triangular craft. He recalled seeing a binary code of zeros and ones when he touched the symbols. Further, when Penniston was in a hypnosis session, put under with sodium pentothal, he suggested that the visitors in the craft were time travelers from our future, who had come back to retrieve chromosomes to help sustain the children in their time period, she reported.

In the wake of 26 separate instances of mysterious bird, fish, and animal die-offs in December 2010 and January 2011, Linda shared an update on the strangely killed seals off the coast of England and Scotland, which continue to take place in 2011. The seals have unexplained corkscrew slices running across their bodies. She interviewed marine biologist Neil Wellum who has been tracking the occurrences. According to the Sea Mammal Research Unit, the slicing may have been caused by a "ducted propeller system whereby the seals are being drawn through that and these propeller systems in some cases also have a knife cutter, which is designed to cut through rope if it gets around a propeller," he explained.

A leaked EPA document blames Bayer's pesticide clothianidin in the honey bee die-offs, Linda announced in her third segment. She interviewed Tom Theoblad, the owner of a honey farm in Colorado. He received a call from an EPA whistleblower, who revealed that Bayer's registration approval for clothianidin is not based on sound science. Not only is the pesticide toxic to honey bees, but it may also be contaminating soil and groundwater, he warned. Theobald and his colleagues suggest people push for an EPA ban of clothianidin. EPA contact info is posted at the end of Linda's full report.

The extreme weather seen this winter may caused by a rare combination of La Nina in the Pacific and the formation of a North Atlantic oscillation, Linda detailed in her last report. She also interviewed two people about reported changes in the Earth's north magnetic field. Tampa International Airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan described repainting compass markings on their runways to reflect the change in location of the magnetic north pole which is moving closer to Siberia. Dr. Stefan Maus of the University of Colorado, suggested it was a natural "westward drift," and that compasses closer to the North Pole would be far more affected by such changes. It will take around 1,000 years from now for there to be a pole reversal, he added.

Exploring Astrology:

Filling in for George Noory, guest host Rob Simone ( email) welcomed professional astrologer Mark Lerner for a discussion on various topics related to astrology. Lerner shed light on the recent Sun-sign change controversy that began after Minneapolis-based astronomer Parke Kunkle suggested the constellations, along with everyone's zodiac signs, have shifted due to Earth's wobble. According to Lerner, Western astrologers do not follow apparent star groupings and constellations. Their practice is instead based on precisely dividing the year, starting at the Spring Equinox, into 12 equal divisions, he explained. "If you've always thought you were a Sun-sign Cancer, you are still," Lerner affirmed.

Anyone or anything (such as a company or nation) born at a specific moment in time has a chart, he continued, noting that a person is imprinted with his sign at birth after taking the first breath. The positions of celestial bodies at that juncture represent archetypal or spiritual energies related to an individual's higher destiny, but this does not necessarily mean one is fated to have a certain kind of life, Lerner advised. In addition, by charting someone's current cycle, the transits and progressions, astrologers can ascertain even more information about that person, he said.

Lerner pointed out that astrology can analyze interactions between people as well. This area is known as composite astrology and is used to determine how any two people (lovers, business partners, etc) will relate to each other. Lerner also commented on the unwarranted hysteria surrounding the Mercury retrograde period, the current unrest in Egypt, and what he sees ahead for President Obama and the country. Obama may be better placed as president two years from now, when "the astrological alignments affecting America's birth chart are going to be incredibly severe," he warned.

Electromagnetic Effects & Mystical Experiences:

On Sunday night, guest host John B. Wells ( email) spoke with scientist, filmmaker and mystic ecologist David Sereda about his latest research on the Earth's pole shift and why the sunrise has been early, the bird die-off, quantum electro-dynamics, and 2012, as well as new children being born with advanced abilities. Pointing out that the human body has an electrical magnetic field, he noted that it can be affected by activity on the sun, as well as energies coming from different parts of the galactic plane, as the Earth moves through it.

A big shift of energy could be coming in 2012 that is going to affect every living thing on the planet, and possibly trigger quakes and other sudden earth changes, he said. The solar system may have entered such a new field of energy on December 22, 2010, which set off a chain of events, including the largest storm ever recorded on Saturn, the strange bird and animal die-offs, and an early sunrise in Greenland (related to a wobble of the Earth and the moving of the magnetic pole), he outlined.

Children born into the current cosmic energy have new DNA that enables them to talk to angels or with entities on the Other Side, he suggested. Or in some cases, they can even physically pop in and out of dimensions and disappear for a time, he reported. Their higher vibration of consciousness may tie into the idea of the Rapture, with people moving into another dimension. Sereda also shared some of his personal mystical and paranormal experiences such as seeing a ball of light fall into his daughter's head (on a night vision camera), just as his wife was sending a prayer for an angel to protect her.

Egypt Analysis:

First hour guest, author Howard Bloom commented on the continuing anti-government protests in Egypt. A number of contingents could be jockeying for power there including the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic revolutionaries, and a democratic and secular group that would govern similar to Turkey, he detailed.

State Bailouts & Bankruptcy:

In the first half of Saturday's program, monetary historian Andy Gause joined Ian Punnett to discuss the serious ramifications if states start filing for bankruptcy protection. According to Gause, many states have unfunded pension obligations that they are legally required to pay but have no way of meeting. California, for example, owes half a trillion dollars to its public servants. The state may choose to increase the tax burden on its residents or possibly seek to restructure this debt through bankruptcy, he explained. In the third hour, journalist Adam Fergusson talked about what caused the German financial collapse in the 1920s and what can be learned from it today... cont.

Egypt Unrest:

Three different guests appeared during Monday evening. In the first hour, Ambassador Clovis Maksoud offered analysis of the situation in Egypt and the Middle East. The protests in Egypt have been initiated by the younger generation who have been marginalized through unemployment, and corruption by the ruling class, he said. These demonstrators are generally peace-seeking, and just want to be empowered to develop and transform their country, after 30 years of neglect from the Mubarak government, he continued.

In hour 2, archaeologist and researcher Stephen Mehler reacted to the Egyptian uprising. "We are witnessing history...Egypt has never experienced it before...the potential for a true representative coalition government, and that is what the people want," he commented. Egypt has enormous wealth and resources but most of it is going out of the country, and "it needs to be among the people," he said, adding that the protestors will not accept any coalition government that is part of Mubarak's regime. During this hour, William Henry, who had been leading a tour of the Giza pyramids, was reached by cell phone, and reported that their group was safe, and was on their way out of the country.

Paul Guercio of the Merlin Project (a software-based forecasting technology) talked about 'timetraks' in the third hour. He noted that many people's timetraks have a huge spike going into 2012, but the traks taper off quickly in that year. So it appears that "we're already in 2012" in the sense of dramatic events and climate change, he suggested.

Alternative Cancer Treatments:

On Tuesday's show, author and health freedom advocate Ty Bollinger set out to find out all he could about cancer and discovered a world of effective treatments which are being ignored by the medical establishment. Cancer (a mutation of cells) is usually held in check by a healthy immune system but, he said, many people's systems have become toxic from environmental pollutants, vaccinations, and EMF. He cited a "cancer conspiracy," and the "Medical Mafia" that acts to suppress or use strong arm tactics against alternative approaches to surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Some people, he reported, are even prosecuted and sent to prison, such as Jason Vale, who sold apricot pits & apple seeds (Vitamin B-17 or Laetrile).

Bollinger reviewed different approaches to cancer such as the Hoxsey tonic, an herbal mixture that was developed through observing a horse cure itself of cancer by grazing on certain wild plants, and the Rife machine which targets cancer cells using particular frequencies. Hemp also has curative properties and helps increase alkalinity, he noted.

Other alternative therapies & supplements he touched on included:

Hyperthermia-- a treatment in which cancer cells are super-heated.
Hyperbaric oxygen chamber-- a suppressed method for treating cancer.
Carnivora-- supplement made from the Venus Fly Trap, an immune booster and cancer fighter.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide.
Budwig Diet.

Uprising in Egypt:

First hour guest, author and teacher Dannion Brinkley, who has made over 30 trips to Egypt, discussed the unrest that is happening there. We are watching a worldwide revolution begin, he commented. He noted that a number of his Egyptian friends who live in the Los Angeles area also want Mubarak out. The border of Egypt and Gaza could be of concern to Israel, he cautioned, as people who want to instigate war might see an opening.

Optimism, Technology, & the Future:

On Wednesday's show, writer, deep-thinker, and stand-up comedian Mark Stevenson shared his journey to find out what the future holds, and how we can approach it with a sense of pragmatic optimism. He discussed his meetings and interviews with a variety of forward-thinking people including farmers in the Australian Outback who devised an ingenious but low-tech method of sustaining their grasslands, and the President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, who invited him to participate in an underwater cabinet meeting.

Stevenson also interviewed George Church, a molecular geneticist, who is trying to bring forward a "personal genomics revolution," which could reveal how an individual's genetic code interacts with the environment. He is currently sequencing the genomes of 100,000 volunteers and correlating it with their health and medical information. Eventually, this could lead to specific diet and pharmaceutical recommendations based on a person's genetic markers, Stevenson explained.

He discussed the transhumanist movement to extend people's lifespans, and the continued development of robots. Based on his research, he's concluded that we don't need to worry about "robotic overlords" taking over anytime soon, as they continue to have difficulty in doing basic tasks like walking. Stevenson also touched on the positive and negative aspects of interconnectivity through the Internet and mobile devices, how human organs are now being grown in labs, and nanotechnology-enabled printers that can manufacture anything from the ground up.

Internet Privacy:

Thursday's first hour guest, consumer privacy expert Katherine Albrecht reacted to a proposed bill that would give the US president the power of an Internet "kill switch" in a cyber emergency. The bill doesn't really define what such an emergency would be, and presents a "frightening scenario" for curtailing free speech, she said, citing the current situation in Egypt. She also spoke about search engines gathering and collecting information on consumers based on their searches, and recommended the privacy search engine, startingpage.com.

Star Visitors:

Appearing in the second hour, anthropologist specializing in Star Cultures, and certified clinical hypnotherapist, Dr. Richard Boylan shared updates on ET visitors and 'star children.' According to his information, a powerful ruling cabal plans to conduct a fake alien invasion, to divert attention away from their oppressive tactics. The recent UFO sighting in Jerusalem is an example of this, he added. Humans were bio-engineered by ETs 275,000 years ago, and they continue to upgrade human genetics, with some 96% of grade school children being "star seeds" or "star children," he cited. There are some 1,483 separate alien races who have visited Earth, including two groups that reside here-- the Tall Whites in Nevada, and the 'Zombie People' who came from Barnard's star, and now live above the Arctic Circle, he claimed.

Open Lines & Joshua P. Warren:

The latter half of the show featured Open Lines, with callers sharing accounts that included encounters with small aliens, and the Old Hag. Paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren joined George to field the calls in the last hour, and related how he was saved during an angelic intervention as a young boy. He also commented that humans may be developing a new sensory organ that will allow them to view astral entities around us.

Ripley's 'Believe It Or Not' Empire:

In the first half of Friday's show, Ripley Entertainment's Tim O'Brien and Edward Meyer spoke about Robert Ripley, the man behind the Ripley's Believe It or Not! franchise. Ripley was working as an illustrator in the sports department of the New York Globe when he came up with the idea for his Believe it or Not cartoon, Meyer explained. Featuring unusual and exotic facts from around the world, the cartoon panel proved popular and was eventually syndicated everywhere. In 1929, Ripley used his cartoon to change history by informing Americans that they had no national anthem, Meyer noted. Shortly afterward "The Star-Spangled Banner" was officially adopted as the country's official anthem.

Ripley's cartoon remains the longest running daily panel in the world and is currently published in 200 newspapers in 17 different languages, and even online at comics.com, O'Brien noted. Its success allowed Ripley to expand into other media, including radio and television, and public exhibitions at what he called "Odditoriums." Today, the Ripley organization hosts 13 million people annually at its 85 various attractions, O'Brien continued. Meyer, who purchases items for the Ripley museums, told George he recently tried to acquire Lee Harvey Oswald's coffin. One of the strangest exhibits in the collection is hair purportedly from the abominable snowman, he added. O'Brien said his favorite exhibit is the head of a deranged French man that has been cut in half.

Polar Shift Update:

During the third hour, scientist David Sereda discussed pole shifts ( illustration) and a recent FAA advisory regarding magnetic anomalies in the Bermuda Triangle. Sereda said he believes the FAA advisory, which indicates GPS will be unreliable in the area due to Department of Defense testing, is merely a cover story. According to Sereda, a ham radio operator has discovered the magnetic field anomalies in that region are not manmade, thus could not be military-related. Recent events, including an evenly-distributed vibration that struck the whole planet and the massive bird die-offs, may indicate Earth is getting ready to find its new magnetic north and south positions, he explained. Such a polar shift would cause devestating earth changes, Sereda warned.

Today in Strangeness:

On February 5, 1974, the Mariner 10 took the first close-up images of Venus. In 1981, in Brisbane, Australia, two men created the world's largest Jell-O, filling a tank with 7,700 gallons of pink Jell-O. Happy Birthday H.R. Giger! The artist known for his surrealistic and 'Alien' designs turns 71 today.

Video Fix:

Could the recent Jerusalem UFO videos be a viral marketing campaign for the upcoming sci-fi movie "Battle: Los Angeles"? Get the breakdown from MovieViral.

Tonight's Show, Saturday, February 5th:

Author Matt Baglio joins Ian Punnett to share vignettes from the lives of exorcists and people possessed by demons, culminating in personal confrontations with the Devil.

In the first hour, sports conspiracist Brian Tuohy will talk about FBI files he's uncovered that prove many professional sports games are fixed, as well as what to look for in Sunday's Super Bowl that might indicate the game has been fixed.

From 6-10 pm (PT) on Saturday night, Coast Insiders can hear an Art Bell: Somewhere in Time program from May 12, 1999, when Peter Gersten talked about Citizens Against UFO Secrecy, and Michael Cremo presented an update on anomalous archeology.

Weekend Edition February 7, 2011 www.coasttocoastam.com Coast Insider Audio

Enhancing the Brain:

On Sunday's show, George Noory was joined by neurologist Dr. David Perlmutter for a discussion on how the brain can be enhanced to open pathways for optimal functioning and health, as well as enlightenment. He spoke about the importance of neuroplasticity-- the ability of the brain to rewire itself and make better connections, and outlined a number of techniques to achieve this. Meditation, for instance, makes the brain work more efficiently, and reduces levels of harmful cortisol. Interestingly, he noted that spiritual experiences, such as prayer and meditation, have now been shown to take place in certain parts of the brain through MRI and other tests.

Certain supplements can act as "epigenetic" factors, turning on gene pathways that can, for instance, increase production of antioxidants in the body. These include turmeric, and DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid found in products like fish oil. He suggested fasting once a month, which turns on several important gene pathways that increase neuroplasticity. One of the most powerful epigenetic factors is physical exercise, he added.

Dr. Perlmutter also talked about the importance of Vitamin D to brain function, and noted that people with Alzheimer's and autism typically have lower levels of it. Additionally, he touched on how the human brain has evolved, with primitive reptilian functions (such as fight or flight) sometimes holding people back from higher levels of thoughts and perception.

Healthy Living Tips:

First hour guest, teacher and author Patricia Bragg shared tips for healthy living. She recommended taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar three times a day, as it acts to detox, cleanse, and heal the body. It can also aid in weight loss-- she cited studies at Arizona State Univ. that showed apple cider vinegar taken before meals helps control the blood glucose and insulin levels.

Demonic Possession & Exorcism:

On Saturday's program, Ian Punnett was joined by Matt Baglio, author of the book-turned-movie The Rite, for a discussion on demonic possession, exorcism, and the people who train to perform this ritual. Baglio began by briefly covering the Catholic Church's position on Satan and demons, noting that they are 'pure' created spirits who sinned against God and were cast out of heaven for it. These fallen angels are filled with animosity toward mankind and can attack in several ways, including temptation, infestation (possession of place or object), oppression (physical attack), obsession (attack on the mind), and possession (control of victim's body), Baglio explained... cont.

Today in Strangeness:

On this day in 1812, the New Madrid earthquake hit. At a magnitude estimated to be 8.2, it was the largest recorded earthquake in the contiguous United States. The town of New Madrid, Missouri was destroyed, and the Mississippi River was said to run backward for several hours.

Tonight's Show, Monday, February 7th:

Investigative mythologist William Henry was leading a tour in Egypt when the revolution suddenly began. He'll recap what he saw in Egypt, and how he escaped the chaos, violence, and military lock down.

Egypt Uprising & Mythology:

Investigative mythologist William Henry was leading a tour in Egypt when the revolution suddenly began. On Monday's show, he recapped what he saw in Egypt, and how he escaped the chaos, violence, and military lock down, as well as his study of ancient Egypt's iconography and wisdom traditions. His tour, begun on January 19th included 24 people, and was going fine. After two days in Giza exploring the pyramids, they traveled south for a cruise on the Nile. When they flew from Cairo to Aswan to begin their cruise, they encountered a British man in the security line, who cryptically said "wait till you see what happens in Egypt next week," which in retrospect made Henry wonder if the Egyptian uprising had been carefully planned rather than spontaneous.

When they returned to Cairo on January 28th, the demonstrations had been going on for several days, and a curfew was announced. There was gunfire outside their hotel room, and tanks rolling through the area, and they didn't know if they'd get out. Cobbling together various resources, the group journeyed to the Cairo airport passing checkpoints guarded by neighborhood gangs with makeshift weapons. At the airport, mayhem reigned, as 18,000 people were all trying to go through security at the same time, and no one could print out their boarding passes because the Internet had been shut down. Henry's group pulled together as a team, and eventually all successfully got out on various planes.

He noted that Zahi Hawass, who recently created new restrictions for touring the temples, is a Mubarak follower, and as a Cabinet member, is the #3 person in their administration, and could possibly rise to power there. Henry also talked about his visit to the temple of Hathor at Denderah, which on the ceiling features images of the gods sailing on their ships of eternity. This imagery matches the way modern science depicts a wormhole, he commented.

Unemployment & the Economy:

First hour guest, financial analyst Mish Shedlock talked about unemployment and the economy. It was recently announced that the unemployment rate was lowered from 9.4% to 9%, but he attributes this to people dropping out of looking for work entirely, rather than more jobs being created.

Video Fix:

Video footage of an uncontacted tribe spotted in the Brazilian jungle has been released. Currently, it is govt. policy there to watch from a distance to protect the tribes from intrusion.

Today in Strangeness:

On the night of February 8, 1855, the mysterious " Devil's Footprints" appeared in Devon, England. The hoof-like tracks, which have never been adequately explained, were said to stretch for over a hundred miles and went through solid walls and haystacks, as if there was no barrier.

Live Chat & Tonight's Show, Tuesday. February 8th:

Coast Insiders, join us for a Live Chat with George Noory, this Tuesday night at 8pm PT/11pm ET. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and informally dialogue with the man behind the microphone! Then, on Coast to Coast AM, lifelong practitioner of the occult, Winter Laake will discuss the history of Satanism, the ritual use of Black Magic, the merging of psychometry with Black Magic, and why Satanism is gaining in popularity.
